It's truly remarkable how some people have carved out a place to call home on the tiniest, most remote splices of land you could imagine. I'm from Australia, I've driven through Montenegro from Croatia to Macedonia. Lovely seeing it on this channel. Tokelau Island is another small island with a population of 2,000 people.

I've been interested in this very unique island since I was a teenager. Finally got there 30 years later. It is just an amazingly unique place.
I love #14 but I guess if George Clooney can't buy it, I'm out of luck :o( #10 is spectacular and a great piece of history. #9 is crazy - why do I think this spot was used for a cheesy shark movie?? #7, 5, 4 & 3 were all adorable. #2 is really spectacular with the dormant volcano. The town itself looks like something out of a fairy tale and #1 is absolutely adorable - I love the name and it made me giggle ;o) Great post, thanks for sharing :o)

Had a tiny island, an acre with small house, a caretakers tiny cabin, a dock and water tower,septic .some trees ,garden space then political upheaval and bye bye island that was planned to be a health service clinic outpost for very underserved community. I remember being asked "Do you deliver babies ?" And when I said yes I have experience in emergencies, people were so happy. The dream and planning kept me sane for a few years when focusing my energy while grieving. Just recently opened a suitcase full of supplies with sadness but realization that due to aging and health issues, I would have been forced to leave in a few years.

Try as I could with Google Maps, I could not discern a place large enough on that Colombian island of Santa Cruz de Lisote? to fit a soccer field. Does it exist only at at low tide on a beach, perhaps? BTW, both Saba and Corvo with their airports and size in square miles seem way too big for the title of this video (I enjoyed it nevertheless}.
Maybe it's not a full-sized field.

Hello, why you show the less important island in the Italian lakes ? Actually in the same lake there is Monteisola which is much bigger and beautiful and you can visit it. And then San Giulio island on lake Orta , and the three islands in lake Maggiore.

There are many smaller inhabited islands that you do not list. You should have titled your interesting video "15 Tiny Inhabited Islands".

I'm half way through this upload and can smell the stink of a couple of these islands,, I'm all about different lifestyles, BUT NOT at the expense of cleaness .. what do they do, throw their human waste into the water??
No they do not. They haul it off the island and dispose of it in the appropriate places. These people are extremely poor. They have no choice but to live like this. You sound like a very naive and privileged person.
