Doing what we do best! Thanks for watching.
Good video. Have crv also. Still build it. So nice to see group of crv doing this kind of things
Thank you! It’s a lot more fun as a group.
congrats on a successful first meet! some great rigs
Thank you!

Heckkk yea. Cr-V’s roll out.
CRV gang gang!
fellow crv offroader!! love it
Thank you!
Had such a good time! Looking forward to the next one!
More to come! It was nice to meet you and check out your CRV
That’s so awesome. I wish there was something like this here in Alabama
Thanks for checking my video out, I am a big fan of your channel! I started up these meets because there was no established group. So far we have had a few great meets.
I think if you put out an announcement you would get guys showing up.
oh man, can't wait to come to the next one! Just picked up a 2000 CR-V EX AWD.
See you on the trail! I’ll be posting the invite for the next one soon.
I truly wish I would have known about this.. I would have loved to have gone. I love my CRV and would like to meet some like minded people.
See you at the next one?
Great video! I wish I could have come along.
Thanks bro. lets fly you in for the next one, you can drive my blue crv
Good size group. Looks like fun.
We had a blast!
Looks fun!
We had a great time :)

Me too!
So bummed I missed this! Looks like a blast
Tell me about it wish I wasn’t so far
We had a great time.. Come out to the next one!
Fun !
Great time.
Awesome meet up...
I own a Gen 2 CRV AWD. Just installed a set of 2157016 BFG KO2 AT. Love them tyres.
Very cool!
I have a 99 RD1 with 215/75/r15 General Grabbers. They are ok. Lost a lot of mpg. Thinking of dropping it to Geolanders 205/70. Redoing the lift. Going with truhart lift coilovers instead of hrg spacers. Good luck on your build. God bless
Wish I would have been in on this. That's my hood. Just got my CRV a month ago tho
Watch out for the next announcement
I didn’t know there’s a CVR group out there. I’m a 4runner guy. I respect that.
I dig any group of the same car getting together. I have an old Toyota pickup that I have a video of if you are interested.
Damn, I could have been the only red one there. Too bad I had to work!
Come out next time!
@LoganJohnsonWA oh I will! I got stuck with mandatory OT. Next time we'll have everyone pukka out their tables and have a potluck or something lol
I think UA-cam has finally figured out my algorithm
The Crv community is strong on here.
Cool! Neat meetup, seemed like a lot of fun.
It was a great time!
So what this taught me was that crvs are much better going downhills than uphills.
Yeah they are. Needs a little more power
Looks great, got a first gen CRV but still looking to replace the tires with some all terrains once its fixed, overheated it like a moron last month in the Arizona heat and blew a head gasket :(
Get it fixed and back on the trails!! I just did a head gasket on a crv. Hardest part was scraping the intake gasket off. Make sure you do your valve seals and can seals while it’s out.
Were there any AWD Automatics in your group? Wondering if my auto can do these type of trails
Yes about half were autos. Everyone had awd
I have a 2001 Honda Crv that I purchased new and was still driving it. The car needs new brake lines and a new motor for the driver side window. The mileage is low on the car, but i am not sure I should have the work done because of the age of the car. The interior looks new. The body is in excellent condition, except for a rust spot over the back passenger wheel. The car has never stopped or not started. I am not sure if I should keep the car. The car drives well, and it such a pretty red color. I was thinking about getting a wheel cover with a red rose on it.
Sounds like a good car to keep going. Don’t forget the lower ball joints and timing belt needs service routinely.
What camera did you use to film this? Looks like stabilisation works great. Thanks
Thanks dude! I shot most of this on a Sony Zv-e10 with the kit lenses. I have a lot of learning to do with filming on it.
5:00 is the steering broken on the white rally wheel CR-V?
No, he's just trying to slide down the hill. It was far steeper than it looks in the video.
Cool! I have questions!
- How much action did your skid plate get?
- Was ground clearance an issue for the group, other than in the snow?
- Were the repairs you did after Manashtash really just from that run, or more like the effect of 200k miles and frequent off-road use?
- Do CR-Vs hold up okay otherwise, for use like this run? The control arms and some other parts seem much, much lighter duty than say, a Ranger or YJ.
Cool trip, thanks for the video, and if you're able to respond 🙂
I don't recall the skid plate hitting anything on this run however it has been smacked pretty good before.
Ground clearance was only an issue on the second gen crv that would hit the fuel tank guard.
Those repairs were a long time coming, I did put a lot of wear on the vehicle doing the WABDR (exhaust, tires and knocking the wheel off center.) Right now I have it all fixed up other than a leaking steering rack and I'm coming up on time to replace my clutch again. (I got a couple years out of it off roading and towing things that are way too heavy.
I think that the crv is a great light duty off road vehicle. Surprisingly robust for its size and intended usage. in stock form a crv should handle any forest road without breaking assuming its in good condition.
I hope that answers your questions well enough, thanks for reaching out.
Cool, thanks! I guess I've been nervous about what qualifies as "light duty", and didn't want to find out the hard way. I was shocked to look underneath and find flat pieces and thin stamped pieces 😱. I've seen "heavy duty" high-clearance control arms, but surprised by lack of tune or I-beam style strengthening. Would you strengthen the CR-V much, or just use your truck for rougher stuff?
And any thoughts about doing a viscous coupler and locking the clutches and/or diff?
I’m not too worried about breaking stuff as I have plenty of cars and the abilities to fix what I break. I have thought about changing up the rear suspension design a little
Всем привет🤝 Лифт 1.5" это очевидно. А регулируемые рычаги и блокировки сзади есть у кого?
I’ll post a video soon going over my set up. Hope that will help clear things up.
Привет! А какой размер колес на CRV черного цвета? У которой туманки оранжевые. Ставил ли ваш товарищ проставки под амортизаторы? Привет из Сибири!)
Hello! The black one is mine, the tires are 235/75. Most of the guys had spacer lifts. Mine is coilover lift.
@@LoganJohnsonWA Thanks! Your car looks very harmonious!
I want to attend the next one. Where the info be posted?
I recently posted a video explaining the next one.
Did anyone have a rear differential element installed in theres?
As far as I know we all had factory rear units. I have been wanting to upgrade to a pinned set up with a coupler on the driveshaft. Time will tell as I’m working on a new crv project at the moment.
i live in washington and have a lifted crv how do i find things like this?
I posted an invite on my UA-cam channel and on my instagram. Once you go to one of the events you get put on an internal message board that has planning details and less formal chit chat.
As of right now there is no official next event planned for this year yet.
Pretty badass
Thank you!
Yoo any FWD in that fleet?
I have a 2003 with 80k and i am the second owner but FWD¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Just curious cause I got it pretty much for a steal, and I really wouldn't mind going the process for the 4wd swap since its really clean
Hi in this group everyone had all wheel drive.
I think you would make it to most of the same places as we did.
if yall are just going down some small hills and through a few puddles thats not offroading lol. you are going to places where even that g37 could make it, embarrassing
Idk if I’d say this wasn’t off-roading. That car was driving down the main line which is not what we were coming down. You should come out next time and see what we were really up to. Thanks for watching
Ok I admit I came on strong with that one, sorry don’t mean to sound like an asshole, I’m sure the video makes it look easier than it is and you guys look like a fun group to hangout with, and honestly I would but I live in BC, but I am planning on the king out to Washington at some point. Good luck with your rigs, it’s always nice to see people wheeling their CRVs such an underrated car.
@@kindolive9528I have a 98 crv and a property and last year with the rain and floods had to drag my old mates 4wd ute out as it was bogged in the paddock 8 times at least. Only time I got stuck was when I was dragging his 4wd ute and stock crate bogged to the axles. Had to get the crv dragged out with a red fergy tractor then had it stuck up on a stump had to get it dragged off with the tractor. Tonka tuff. Love my tonka crv.
Lol whatever nerd
Good way to rip your front wheels off
They are on there pretty tight.
