When the folks who prefer wolves to owners' rights pay our taxes and deal with the problems themselves, then maybe we could go along with it to some extent. Public lands? Who says the wolves will stay there and not go out for an easy meal on someone's livestock or dogs.
They introduced hybrid wolves in Idaho... Huge mistake! We had the Grey wolf. They said they were gone. They were not gone. So the put these vicious disease infested hybrids here. It’s horrible! Not just livestock are decimated. Elk Moose Deer it’s bad. Don’t let it happen in Colorado. Vote no!!!
Ranchers are not just losing livestock no one pays them for, but border collies and livestock guardian dogs are killed and eaten. That is family and real heartbreak.
Well... we have wolves now and for a good reason. If the Colorado Farm Bureau is using words terms like "decimating livestock" when data from the USFWS in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana have livestock mortality rates at or around 1% and considered to be "negligible", then they lost because they had no factual data to support their beliefs. We are seeing that across the board with many right leaning organizations. Hopefully one day they will realize data, science and statistics are important and that there is no such thing as alternative facts. You can't rely on stupid forever.

There's already wolves in Colorado. I encountered a pack years ago in Pagosa springs.
