This is my second day flying the Eternity F5J. Still getting familiar with the model and doing some tuning. First impressions are very good. Very good turning model and give a lot of confidence working thermals on the deck.

Latest design from our years of experience in F5J, multi-dihedral wing for easy control in each flying condition
Special low drag wing airfoil by Dirk Pflug , special 5 different airfoils which are used on Eternity Wing
Wing area : 74,42 dm2 V tail area : 7,52 dm2.
Airfoil thickness in root rib 7,8% , middle to tip 6,9%
Wing is 4 panel , 2 piece fuselage , 2 piece V tail.
2 piece fuselage , front part possible 2,4 friendly
Easy to travel, the shipping box has inside dimensions of 1200x280x100mm
Easy to assemble at the field , no tools needed , just tape / push parts together and tape
Both ailerons are controlled with one servo, and a special connection system reduces any torsional stress during movement
Ballast placed in the middle of the wing, for fast and easy access
Wing is constructed with solid core technology in aluminum molds , during production all parts are post cured to high temperatures
Nose of the fuselage was designed by George Mirov famous producer competition propeller
Servos for the tail are located in the tail boom where it meets with the pod
Pre-installed IDS + in the middle part of the wing inbuilt special high temperature resistant Teflon cable, to reduce time during build
Servo bays in the wing are completely molded in, full carbon caps, master piece of technology
Recommended servo set-up:
MKS
V tail : HV75K-R
Flap: HV6130
Aileron: HV6120
KST
V tail : X08
Flap : X10mini
Aileron : X08plus
Flying weights:
FAI Light- Not available at this time
Light- 1130-1200 grams (depending on gear, build, and paint)
Performance- 1350-1400 grams (depending on gear, build, and paint)
Man, that is a nice flying sailplane and it looks great, too! The triple polyhedral break is key.
Had a mid-air at a comp with mine, so gutted. It's repairable.
Thanks for the Review, very sweet Flying Sir Ali . Will you could a voice review on this Model. Hope we can see you next Year at the Nats.
In the video it looks like it turn’s really really well, very smooth and tight without stalling or altitude loss.
How would you compare its L/D and climb rate say compared to a prestige or a vertigo?
The triple dihedral wing looks Awesome!
L/D is not as good, needs to be lighter. I think the next batch will be better.
@@flightcomp Hi, not as good as what? Can you compare weights of this 3 models?
What is the weight of model shown in video ?
42oz
If you compare the Eternity F5J V Tail to Samba's Prestige 2PK V-Tail or not - which one has the better sink rate or thermal ability?
The Prestige. The Eternity needs to drop some weight when you look at wing loading.
@@flightcomp , Ali which version do you have ?
@@ronaldmong8984 both light and performance. CG of the performance is 103
Double impression. On the one hand, the glider is good and has a good ability to climb ..... On the bad side, stalling on the nose or on the wing is noticeable with a lack of speed. Personally, I liked the behavior of Prestige 2PK more.
This is probably normal behavior for V-tail gliders (I prefer X-tail).
You may be right, it also needs to be lighter because the wing area is so small.
@@flightcomp Gliders with a high load have higher speeds. For this reason, rear balances are not recommended for such gliders. Probably the glider is good and will have excellent performance but at speeds that are higher than others. This will be true for the thermaling mode as well. For windy or turbulent weather this is the best glider, but not for calm and narrow streams. Getting used to the glider is not a problem, you need to tweak your piloting style a little. In my opinion, X-tail is better for high-speed, high-load gliders. Sorry for my English.
What people get out of those screaming mosquitoes I’ll never know… especially when there’s a perfectly good Sailplane right there!!
LOL!!! I forgot the bug spray.
Hello All
What CG did you have?
I like 115
@@flightcomp 115 or 105 ?
@@ronaldmong8984 105!!! Not 115, my mistake! Good range is 102-105.
I meant 105!
