Katamari Damacy was recently remastered and is fantastic, worth checking out on sale. Although you get all the original music and it's free if you just emulate it for PS2. I'm also pretty sold on Wattam now.
I don't know if any of what se say worth listening she have the look of a leftist libtard and if it prove that she is one everything a libtard say can be considered bullshit and worthless argument
Just got this game because of this video, more on the dynamic soundtrack: if you hold characters hands it layers their instruments into even better arrangements of the songs. I love this so much!!!!
For those wondering about the unsourced graph at 3:16, it's from Scott McCloud's 1993 book "Understanding Comics" and is titled the Triangle of Representation. You can find the full image with Google image search using the author's name and image title.
I love the format of this review. Its really cool to see reviewers just talk about a game and give personal views in a fun way. Its especially cool considering what we normally see is a bland, general, not-personal review.
I loved how the similes and word choice and performance sold the game as much as the explanation. I don't see it, but I felt that "Cool Cloth" and it was nirvana.
i didn’t get to watch this video entirely the first time i saw it and now im so glad i came back to it because jenna’s genuine appreciation, love and simple happiness towards this game reminds me of why i love video games and why they’re such a great interactive and personal media. thank you for the great content, jenna!!
Finally got around to playing this game, beat it today, the ending made me cry. Brilliant. It isn't perfect, but it's beautiful and valuable all the same.
I'm so glad you're talking about this game because I have been trying to get people to play this thing since I heard Keita Takahashi was behind it. If anyone can get people to play it, it's Jenna. Thank you for nailing all of these points so PERFECTLY.
i'll be honest, this game gives me STRONG LocoRoco vibes all around. sure, i love katamari damacy, but this is just overloading me with LocoRoco. and god, do i love LocoRoco.
Jenna's evaluation is (as ALWAYS) amazing, but I feel like "toylike" might almost be closer to the color description than "candy-like". I feel like the textures and colors feel like small vinyl toys, which have some suggestion of texture but also have that uniform smooth but non-shiny uniformity.
My favorite thing in this video is that Jenna tried asking Takahashi to be penpals with her in Japanese despite the fact that he knows fluent English and lives in America
...That sure sounds like a game I'd enjoy. I'll definitely consider picking it up when I'm finally done with Pokemon (...Along with about a million other games, sadly...)
I've never played any of these games but Jenna is selling me on Wattam immediately

Yup I never even heard of it
Jenna is the best, polygon's got a great lineup.
"a lot of the characters have special powers, like the mouth that turns things into poop, the toilet that turns poop into other poop"
okay

every time jenna mentions the matte finish on EVERYTHING they show the one thing with a shine (the poops)
...something something, polish a turd! *canned_laughter_03.wav plays*
And other things! Bad editing.
Why do we bother talking about video games in any other form than this single video
Because this video makes no references to Italian theater traditions.
Jenna sold me on this game by like the third minute of the video if not earlier
introduced my friends to Polygon content at a sleepover and now we are all equally obsessed
doing the Lord’s work
I'mma call that palette, "Soft Summer."
Animal crossing chic, if you will
thank you for my life jenna
this. is. wholesome.
So Wattam is the Dark Souls of Katamari Damacy
"Those things all have faces and make tiny baby noices"
"GOGGIGOOGIGÜGGY"
I always hear it as "boogie boogie boogie"
It's so fun seeing Jenna be passionate about something

WELCOME BACK TOILET
This review had the same delightful energy as the game.
Fun fact: if you eat the mouth, generally called a kiss
I do not think swallowing someone's lips is the recommended method

This review was so weirdly poetic and i loved it, brb letting jenna's infectious passion possess me into buying wattam
I love Jenna! She's so smart and sweet and she makes videos like lemon candy
"the mouth that turns things into poop"
oh hey, mine does that too! :D
now THIS is a review!!
This released basically as I was finishing the latest We Love Katamari episode on Playframe, perfectly timed. Wattam looks wonderful.

This is the best review ive seen lately, love the style
My game of the year for 2019.
Keita Takahashi is one of the all time greats in game design.
I like this video
This video absolutely slaps
The WATaaam at the end !! So cute
Finally got around to playing this game, beat it today, the ending made me cry. Brilliant. It isn't perfect, but it's beautiful and valuable all the same.
I just love katamari and I didn't know about this one, really want to get it! thanks, Jenna!
"What happen if you eat mouth?" is a perfect encapsulation of the vibe Jenna lets off
I bought this intending to stream it, but it’s such an enjoyable, peaceful experience that I’ve just played it alone so I can bask in the glow.
I'm likely never going to play Wattam but I just love the wholesome vibe that Jenna emanates
This video game is pure joy and totally satisfying, always a fan of Katamari for many years and now this game with that soundtrack 🤩
I'm so glad you're talking about this game because I have been trying to get people to play this thing since I heard Keita Takahashi was behind it. If anyone can get people to play it, it's Jenna. Thank you for nailing all of these points so PERFECTLY.
You may not be the Brian David Gilbert we want, but you are the Brian David Gilbert we deserve...
Well done. Great vid. Full sub.
I don't know what why of these things are but I see Jenna, I click
I met him and he’s wonderful and awkward and bashful! He signed my switch!!!
Jenna, your videos are so damn good every single time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
This is exactly what I needed, thank you for helping me update my game wishlist.
Jenna! That surprise Understanding Comics cameo! Great vid as always.
5:35 if the mouth eats things to make poop, did Jenna just create a human centipede situation here?
that poor tree.
Nice piece! And extra points for mentioning BABA IS YOU....
Jenna is good content, Tara
Thank you Jenna
Maybe my favourite polygon video. I feel rejuvenated.
This whole video was plesent to watch.
Jenna you are the champion of similes!! Thank you for this vibrant description
I loved this video, I need to try Wattam now. If it's half as charming as this video makes it appear it must be a joy.
thanks jenna appreciate your presence

(like you could pop any and every object in the game into your mouth, and it'd fit, but it wouldn't dissolve or make your teeth stick together)
Jenna, I wanna play this game now. Also, happy holidays, Polygon folks!
Noby Noby Boy is also pretty great, though a lot of people bounce off it because its goals are a bit unclear & amorphous.
I love every moment of Jenna.
I've been waiting for Wattam to come out on steam since I watched this video and now that its out I'm super hyped
This is what amazing video game journalism looks like!!!!! I'm gonna go buy Wattam right now! Thank you!!!!!
1:55 Paul Simon vibes?! YES!
Bless you Jenna, you really are a balm to my jaded, gamer soul 💜
that was real nice, thanks Jenna! 😊
I appreciate a thoughtful review without shoving a score in my face.
I really want to play this game I’ve never heard of now. Thanks, Jenna 😄
_Wattam_ reminds me a bit of _Pan-Pan_ which was a great game.
1:50 Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al ?
Thank you jenna
Ive never heard of this dude but I want to play wattam now
That sounds super cute! I’m gonna have to download it!
Hell yes, more good informative Jenna content
if you like wattam, you would also enjoy wuppo. its a sweet little game with sooo much personality! should definitely check it out!
This game looks really cool! Thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely check it out, it sounds fun
Watched the first half of this video, went away, bought wattam, finished it in less than three hours, came back, watched second half of video.
My favorite thing in this video is that Jenna tried asking Takahashi to be penpals with her in Japanese despite the fact that he knows fluent English and lives in America
I love you! Enjoy the videos you make!
I love Katamari, and am only recently playing the sequel for the first time. God they're so good. We truly do ♥ Katamari
One more thing added to my wishlist
I love playful games. Botanicula and Chuchel made me very happy, and I know Wattam will too. Thanks for the review! 💩
Nice
Wait that’s what it’s called? Nobi nobi boy? I had it when I was a little kid! My parents thought it was weird, but I loved it!
Just as sweet as the game she describes!
@3:18 what's that graph and where can I get more info on that?
I like videos about why we enjoy things!
This is the next generation of mario
Cool vid
You know, sometimes I feel bad about playing casual games. But sometimes I just want to chill out and have fun.
...That sure sounds like a game I'd enjoy. I'll definitely consider picking it up when I'm finally done with Pokemon (...Along with about a million other games, sadly...)
Oh heck. This is so freaking cute and it made me want to play this game, which I haven't really even heard before!
Get someone that loves you as much as Jenna loves Wattam
This briefly alleived my seasonal affective disorder, a herculean achievement
About half way through this video,I just straight up paused the video, bought wattam, and immediately played it for like an hour
Wtf, I juuuust bought this game today
I'm so glad this came up in my reccomendations. Is this available for the Wii? Will this help the SAD I have for every season?
ive never heard of Wattam until this very moment but now i think i'll die if i dont play it. thank u
Comic Sans is unfairly maligned
Can anyone help me? What's that pyramid showing some sort of gradient of comic characters at 3:18?
Pretty sure I would watch Jenna pitch just literally anything.
