was this a real podcast? or was this part of scumbag dad's larger secret content plans. did he in fact help me set up this entire channel and the 40+ other interviews on it with Graham Stephan, Elliot Choy, Alex Botez etc - just as SETUP for this interview??

The kid was eventually going to get to know who the mom was and that they had siblings, all but one of whom died cause of their parents’ lifestyle. Scumbag Dad’s initial ignorance of the kid was him actively trying to avoid giving the MC the same fate. However history repeats itself and sbd uses the kid to build a criminal empire. When the interests of dad, mom, and the kid start to clash, the kid starts to kill off main characters and we realize how damaging a paradoxical relationship can be. The end of the show happens when you realize that it would have been better for SBD to have stayed away in the first place.

SBD is the one person who made me realize the “Mr Beast” effect is more so a big profit scheme, and people who do it can just hide behind the fact they do charity content if they’re called out. But let’s be honest, they’re making bank, they might not flex it, but we all know they make more money than the homeless person behind it. SBD is the virtual supervillain we need.

Scumbag dad has been my favorite TikTok creator since the pandemic. I was watching his content towards the end of 2021 and in mid 2022 i deleted TikTok because I don't trust companies from China due to a lot of the shit the Chinese government pulls. But i subscribed to his UA-cam channel not long after and he's been one of the only creators that i actually agree with as far as message goes. He points his middle finger at bad people trying to look good through kind deeds that aren't even real and are staged for the camera. It's something I can applaud because I used to do the exact same thing on my old UA-cam channel before i got locked out of it. I'm glad someone is willing to call out the bs and hide behind satire to do it. Even if it's done out of spite, it's still being done.

Your data is already being recorded, collected, and sold. So unfortunately dodging China doesn't dodge your subjugation of systems that are outside of your control and input. Chinese fear comes off as either half-baked xenophobia, or showing your power level out in the open if you're worse than that.

I hope his praxis goes smoothly and he does not (have to?!) give in to the urge to just repost everything with subway surfer clips attached.
    Two things:
    1. Any reason for doing your own subtitles instead of using youtubes feature? (It felt a bit distracting to me and (I'm in no way an expert on this so don't take my word for it but) I think UA-cam's subtitles are probably generally more accessible as they can be adjusted in size/contrast etc.)
    2. What is he wearing on the hand opposite of the watch from his wife? I'm honestly curious as it looks to me like something I'd attach to a bike lol

Ive watched all this guy's videos after i saw a couple and they were elevated intelligence compared to the typical stuff here. So that made me curious. The orthodontia plus the meta content was interesting. Now i understand why after seeing this interview. Im a fan now. Im 42 yrs old. I like this critique on what's happening on social media.

People like Scumbad Dad give me hope coz someone else feels how I feel
47:51 - I feel this feeling at least once a day half of the time, and it's so defeating.
But I'm glad other people are aware of it and are trying to impact it, because my biggest issue is not knowing how I can impact the situation.
Usually I try my best to do is at least the little I can and make personal impacts on people around me, and help them think more about how their actions impact people outside themselves, and think about morality more complexly than more clearly defined structures like legality etc

This wasnt even an interview this was just a full on philosophical discourse on whether or not the new generation is going to understand anything that real life actually amounts to, about their actions and consequences and their expectations and more importantly their world view. I had internet when i was about 10 but we didnt have phones or access to these new apps that are detremental to peoples kids. Autism has gone absolutely mental in the past 6 years. Everyone i talk to says their kid is autistic. I dunno wtf is happening but these two dudes seem to understand we might be fucked

This was great and completely agree with everything. The Dhar Mann, these kindness content. Heck I've even been wondering for a while if all those Karen videos are real or staged just to get views. Like maybe one person caught a legit person blowing up on someone and since then just people staging it for content. In all my years I have never ever seen people blow up like these Karen's do on these videos and I've worked 25 in customer service and I live in Florida where we have all kinds of crazy here.

This comment will probably get buried, but I was also on Americas got talent and made it to the quarter finals for stand up comedy. It honestly didn’t do anything for my career & im kind of embarrassed by the whole thing. I always thought it was so weird when people just held onto that sort of thing so I totally understand where he’s coming from when he talks about looking back on it. Reality television is disgusting. They literally made me write jokes about New York the night before I performed live & then stuck a camera in my face and asked me if I could call my girlfriend to see if she still loved me because I had bombed so hard. I didn’t want to do those jokes. I wanted to do the ones I worked on and prepared for. The producers will pick a song for an artist and tell them to play it & then the judges just shit on then & ask them why they played that song. I became friends with one of the producers and he told me he went into a room & it had everyone from the shows head shot on the wall & the producers just pick from the beginning who will be the best fit to win it. It’s all staged bullshit. I’m glad this guy kept going & is getting successful. It definitely gives me hope!! Sorry to go on a diatribe!! Anyway good luck scum bag dad!!!
