I have a couple of MGs so have no issues with having a Chinese EV. BYD does look good, but frankly until they change their branding to get "Build Your Dreams" badges off the car I just couldn't consider them. BYD is fine, just not the full name

You're not the first person I've heard say that! Luckily the Seal U just has the BYD logo - the front and the back just says BYD Seal U. I think that's a good choice, I also like just BYD without the whole phrase. Even though I do like to build my dreams, I don't need my car to announce it 😅.
