Back then I was using Waldorf pulse 2 and Sh01a for bass, Jdxi for drums and Blofeld for strings and pads, and more recently we work with Mpc live2, Toraiz As1, Bass Station 2 and Se-02
@@deseoobscuro9929 :) thanks man i was just curious didnt know you were the man behind the synth. very cool im glad to have found your group , i enjoy it. im a eurorack synth guy. ive heard of bass station 2 , and i know of mpc but not my deal. im more of a hardware guy. even though i have beatstep and a midi to CV, i just.... i cant bring myself to play with midi bits. even when i record into a daw, i still have urge to use pedals for effects rather than VST effects. maybe its a part of being old. i prefer audacity just recording waves , but i always come back to DAW expecting myself to "just do it mannn" mentality. but... im so stubborn. really into your music man. you use any analog synth or eurorack /modular ? any advice on some good modules that can get that goth industrial feel ?
@@HeavyDutyModularSynths I had the Beatstep pro for a few years and I recently replaced it with the mpc which has 8 cv outs so maybe in the future I'll add some modular stuff , I always like the intellijel Atlantis. I think pulse2 ,bass station2 and the Ds As1 are great analog synths with limitations of course, the only synth that I have right now that is cv compatible it's the Roland Se-02 made by studio electronics, I think for a dark sound Erika synth have great modules and the Pro one clone by Behringer it's really good too
@@deseoobscuro9929 yeah i got beatstep pro for the CV outs. it has also, 8 CV outs. and 2 CV sequencers. still learning some tricks on it, i hadnt made full project on it with multiple parts yet... do you know if theres a way to do sequence it , so it automatically goes from loop 1, to loop 2, then back or something like that ??? or must you do it manually? ive had it a while now but im a bit overwhelmed with the key combinations and the project manager part of the beatstep pro. I got some Erika Synth pcb/panel kits, i only had finished the mixer because the rest are complicated and i need to scavenge for parts to complete. i had erica synth pico vco.... and their pico vca... i dont suggest their pico VCO, has arm processor on it. not fully analog, its like. fake analog you know ? whatever they call it these days. like those BS little handheld korg toys with midi in. i invested in two of them thinking i can have unison sound, find lots of free digital VCO's etc. what a joke those NTS-1's are. and korg drivers suck. i had a volca sample, dont even get me started. im so effin done with korg.
@@HeavyDutyModularSynths yeah with the latest updates you can program whole songs on the Beatstep Pro, I think you hold down Shift and select the order of the patterns
