Couldn't you switch to Speed after using jump with Shulk that way he can cover the distance for ledge grab under the final platform or would it not work?
I was wondering if shulk could buy more recharging time by falling back to the bottom ledge and then starting jump from there. (He initially started it on left ledge which allowed less time). But your idea sounds better
For any of these challenges, I really don’t think that the characters who use bombs should be classified as “successes.” Everyone else started from zero damage and used only their jumping and/or aerial abilities. The Links/Snake/etc. wouldn’t be able to do that in a normal situation. Nice video, though.
the rules of his challenge clearly state they can damage boost (or at least the rules don't say that they can't) the only time that rule is added is for specific challenges, so you are very incorrect here
Except for the fact that Bowser Jr's "theme" is from Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, which he didnt appear in, and Piranha Plant's "theme" being from Super Mario Bros 2 USA which it also didnt appear in.
I thought to myself that "Surely Corrin can make it further than THAT." So I spent like 20 minutes finding the right angle to pin into the bottom of the map to swing right and find the perfect timing to jump and use up special at the precise angle to grab the ledge. It is indeed possible to go under the bottom of the stage and make it to the next area. It was then that I realized there was no way on earth he was going to make it past the next section, and realized why Prowder didn't go to all the trouble of optimizing the previous section.
You can reach the lowest platform but you must use the special to the side at the exact moment and make the jump to the peak from there you make a blind jump on the wall and your last jump with up + b. It took more than half an hour of pure falls but it was worth it
I like the monochrome for having to start with damage, but link could have ledge stalled on the bottom one and keep pulling bombs, he doesn't need any percentage to start
@@Ok__Dragon Still not right. Isabelle grabbed the ledge multiple times. Shulk wasn't able to make the challenge because he reached the internal ledge grab timer which eventually makes you unable to keep grabbing the ledge. It was a game mechanic, not a limit he put on.
lucina and marth might be able to make it to the third ledge by b-reversing their shield breaker and holding it once you get past the first ledge. i think side b will also help for some extra height
They CAN complete that part. Funny how he uses their Side Special moves for horizontal recovery (to make it worse) but not vertical recovery (which actually helps).
22:47 Like R.O.B., Corrin's Back Air has a windbox that pushes her forward after use. Both Sheik and ZSS can make the original jump (small bottom platform to far right ledge) by doing their respective bouncing fish / flip jump into the the engraved stone wall which will bounce them off and do another bouncing fish / flip jump
14:16. Sonic can jump from the left ledge and use down b for a second then jump and then up b to wall and walljump to the ledge. And the last part of the challenge sonic has to jump spindash then double jump and up b and immediate foward air while holding left then air dodge to the platform. I can record me doing the challenge as sonic if you want.
For those curious, Kazyua makes it to the tiny platform at the bottom, but falls very short of the right side jump. Getting himto the tiny platform it actually a little tricky, because you need to grab the ledge of the bottom left island, drop, stall a tiny bit with Devil Blaster so you can make it around the bottom of the island, and then double jump, up B, and air dodge. Sora clears it, to nobody's surprise, though he does actually need one of the ledges on the left unlike someone like Ness or Lucas. His airspeed is just a bit too slow.
I forgot where I saw it, but I saw a video proving that Robin can make the temple jump. Using up-B without uses provides a bit of extra height that's enough to make it once it refills.
Huh. Considering the amount of challenges I've seen on Hyrule Temple (and tried myself) seeing all of them combined is a cool idea. And I'm surprised my how many can actually make it. My two doubts are: First on Robin, if their Elwind is carefully depleted and well timed it may give them that little boost which may just make it. That's how it goes for the normal jump and if it works they can probably make it. Second on Banjo because I know it's possible to grab the Egg with a buffered airdodge (without actually airdodging) so you don't need to deal with the back air's lag and can UpB straight away, and if done twice may do the trick without need for previous damage and getting a full success. Any other that could be optimized in some way would only get further but not actually succeed so it wouldn't really matter.
I did this with Joker, @Prowder. This setup allows you to go at full speed without having to guess on timing. You may need to make a slight adjustment somewhere if your timing on jumps/tethers/etc. is different from mine. Start on the right end of the platform in training mode (not technically necessary, but would require waiting a lot of seconds with a stopwatch to do each attempt otherwise). Back to 0, down to 999 (deactivating Arsene, the point at which everything becomes time sensitive), back to zero, then up to 70 (how long it takes you to get to 70 makes a difference in the timing). Immediately unpause, run left, jump, jump, airdodge around the first ledge. Grapple the lower ledge like you did, immediately drop, go under the bottom, jump, tether. Jump over to the right ledge. Jump, jump, up-special, then Arsene comes to save the day at precisely the moment after you get the lift from up-special (which also gives you just enough drift to the right for Arsene to barely be able to carry you to the far right ledge), then use the Arsene up-special to reach the ledge you thought he couldn't reach. From there, you just double jump and up-special to the ledge under the finish platform and then jump up. Let me know if anyone else makes it!

This is why R.O.B. is better than Aegis
Sonic can definitely make it bruh
Sheik can down b up the slope
Each character trying their hardest
Steve: blocc
Everyone: this will be hard
Steve: D I R T B L O C K
even without dirt blocks, steve could’ve just glided on every part minus the big part on the right
Could shulk use the speed monado to do the last part?
