You give all the info i could ever need, and there is something about these videos thats just a great vibe. Whenever i think of getting a new light i know there is gonna be a video on your channel, and it never disappoints.

Cheers for ther reviews. Indeed both have very nice beam profiles. Very clean spill too. Agreed that its a good choice to keep in vehicles too. Not too big, not to small and good rintime eith 18650, 3000mAh. The colours and price makes it very reasonable. 👍😋
That orange is really awesome. I'm glad you did this comparison, Ive been wondering how those two leds compared. I've got both but in totally different kinds of lights so it's hard to compare them. In the lights I have I like the SST40s better for close range and the SFT40s for distance. This video made it easy to see the difference. The wall shots on your neighbors house works great for comparison. It's at a distance that's more useful than those done by many from a few feet away. Those close up shots are useful for selfdefence scenarios as far as temporarily blinding someone I imagine. I've seen some pretty funny videos about that actually. 😆
@@harisyoung4110 I actually did that years ago with a six cell mag light. They did not like it. LOL There's probably some law about it now days knowing our tyrannical law makers.
I have thr SFT40 version and it throws so well, but I kind of like the bigger hotspot on the SST40, especially with the warmer tint. I might have to pick up one.
Ordered the same light on March 10th from Aliexpress. Should be here in a few more days. The AMPS is 4.5 to 6 depending on the cell/battery you use. Trying to get the 8amp ramping driver for it now. Love that color, can't wait to try it out. The SFT40 is the dedomed version of the SST40, less lumens more throw. ordering the stainless steel bezel and the stainless steel orange tail light switch for it. Great video, thank you!

Great video, like many others here I have been wondering how these two emitters would compare in the c8+. I do like that the sst40 can be had in different color temperatures but the sft40 has really grown on me over time. For the price of the sft40 it is probably the best overall emitter imo. The sbt90 is better but very expensive and the culpm1 is great but a bit narrow and intense for closer range. I have been considering buying an emisar d4sv2 with the quad w2 emitters, that would be good for both close and medium range. I want to get one to replace my wurkkos ts25, it’s a great light but it’s basically all flood with the quad 519a.

I would love yo give these away as gifts if they only had usb charging. The people that i would give these too wouldnt have 18650 chargers unfortunately. Amazing lights.
If you add anduril to them they will cost 2x more, so whats your problem? First you trying thanks for a cheap price and after u want anduril, thats insane. The 12 groups are enough to use it the right way
