I got Yoimiya by mistake because I was bUiLdInG PiTy but now I'm really enjoying her and glad she's actually finding some use. She was amazing against the electro bird last abyss cycle.
It's great to see my girl Yoimiya preforming so well! People always dismiss her because of her low numbers but they always seem to forget just how quickly she attacks
I thought it's because she's single target, while her single target DPS has always been among the best, she'll take twice as long against 2 enemies. Of course it doesn't matter if it's 25 seconds vs 50 seconds, but if you're struggling at the 1:30min mark it does kinda matter.

@@lostit4795 actually zhongli elemental shred isn't the best compared to kazuha/sucrose elemental shred (zhongli 20%, kazuha/sucrose 40%). and for xiao zhongli not better than c4 jean (jean 40%). but zhongli mostly used now as anti staggering character more, so he's for comfort run

The fact that Yae is already close to Raiden in some situations is really good. She's just a sub dps and I didn't expect her to be comparable to Raiden who's one of the best DPS characters at C3 already
This was surprisingly close! I love Yae but I honestly expected her to look really bad. I’m pleasantly surprised to see her perform well against a known speed running champ like Raiden and a painfully underrated character like Yoimiya.
The closeness sort of highlights how the balance is closer than we think in general and the difference between 'good' and 'bad' barely even matters. You could probably throw a Lisa in for comparison and there would be Lisa mains noting that she did better than expected against the big 5 stars. Not intended to discount Yae here at all, but more-so highlighting the importance of 'play what you like' because in the end if it's 10 or 20 or even 30 seconds, it shouldn't matter. If those seconds matter, there's other problems that need to be addressed that would make a bigger difference than one character choice on one of your teams.
Keep in mind, Raiden needs C3 to do that, Yae needs C6 and also Raiden just refills everyones energy at the same time while nuking everything from existence
you also need to consider that Yae was at c6, Raiden really only needs c2 while she can just run Raiden national at c0, Yae is kind of disappointing at c0
nuke dmg works if you sure that your character can deal big dmg. sadly regular c0 shougun and miko wont do like iwtl doing (without raiden c2-c3, miko c6), so i agree that sustained damage dealer is safer than nuke damage dealer

I will get Yoimiya on her rerun. I skipped when she came out. But now, the game is constantly getting filled up with enemies that like to run away from you instead of attacking. With Yoimiya I won't have to worry about them running away. 🤣
I managed to get yae c0 and her weapon. Although she may not be the best now, Im hoping she eventually gets her own artifact set and dendro electro reactions help her.

I pulled for Yoimiya even though the 4 star characters on her banner were underwhelming and that many people were saying that Raiden was a better character overall. I don't regret double crowning my girl Yoi till today.
I actually voted for Yoimiya so I am REALLY glad to see her here. Especially because I didn't think Keqing would really be even close to comparable to the other 2, and Yoimiya would provide a better metric or underdog in this case.
Man, the fact that Yae doesnt have an artifact set for her, like Raiden or Yomiya, put her in huge low spot. In future, maybe will be a set specific for her, like kokomi after her release.
Maybe this is just copium, but I feel like yae’s damage without a dedicated artifact set is pretty comparable to the units that were tested in the video that do. So I’m expecting her to have higher damage output when she does get her set
Fast foward back 6 months people are cursing about how Yoimiya sucks and if you think otherwise you are coping , comes back to to present, this is exactly what is happening to Yae Miko now.
@@ChiyoTachi Yoimiya never really sucked and while her artifacts arent great she always seemed fun to play. Its just she had the unlucky position of getting released after Hu Tao with a similar Playstyle (E infusion), but arguably more fun as even C0 Yoimiya can spam while for Hu Tao without C1 she's not that fun to play. The only reason a lot of people skipped her and called her bad was because she got compared to one of the best DPS characters till this day. However Miko doesn't feel fun to play in my honest opinion. She takes a lot of time to setup and the ult is easily missable. She looks pretty good on IWTL showcase but that's a C6 Miko where her towers actually do damage. Although I do hope in the future she gets a set that makes her a bit more fun to play like how Kokomi got one cuz I really like her Visual design.

16:25 Beidou instead of Xingqiu really kicks that team up a notch, especially because of the low dual target nature of the enemies you're fighting here. Yoimiya and Beidou work exceptionally well together as they cover each other's weaknesses quite well. I've found beidou can keep up with xingqiu's damage or even outshine him depending on what youre fighting , and in this case she wouldve had a leg up

Besides the remarkable performance of all the contenders, I think it’s worth reminding that Raiden and Yae can be also great sub-dps’s. They both require field-time but they will reward your team with AoE, off-field damage, energy generation and applying electro with 100% uptime. The only one pure main DPS is Yoimiya, moreover a Pyro DPS, and still she can compete with the 2 electro buddies only in few scenarios. Bonus point for Raiden: she is capable to offer the 90% of the potential shown in this video already at C3, probably 80% with EL R1.
considering the abyss enemies were all ones that are pyro resistant yoimiya being only a few seconds short means pyro weak ones she can easily do much better.
Great to see my favorite character Yoimiya! She's such an underrated character who still easily clears abyss for me and is so easy to build even for f2p players
in my experiece using yae, she may not be the fastest to beat the enemy but she is one of the highest dps (dmg ser second) coz her main damage is from her elemental skill that didnt have a downtime, in other word consistent damage. not to mention in overworld exploring she have the most convinient skill that can auto aim the enemy in every terrain. i guess hoyoverse now considering an overworld/exploring specialize character and boss/ timelimit content specialize character since there gonna be more character it can be a way to make us use many character in different content not just base on spiral abyss meta.
IMO..(Raiden is must pull??) AFTER the CoCoGOAT(The Goat forever)... RAIDEN SHOGUN is the only 1 who can b DPS, Sub - DPS , Support so MVP here is fr is Raiden..
raiden is easily one of the best characters in GI when it comes to speed running content...high multipliers for her initial slash and easy to get buff for that initial slash and boom with quite large AOE and than w that C2 haha but ayaka c2/c4 and shenhe is good also for speed running content

I started genshin 1 month ago, and I have heard that c0 can act as a really good support, but the problem is I dont even have a main dps character, I am using physical kaeya as my dps now but idk if pulling for raiden will be beneficial for my account. I dont have enough primos to get c2 shogun. What should i do? Should I save primos for other dps characters or c0 raiden can act as dps?
I remember back when Yae being a playable character was just a rumor that some people were saying that she would would be the new ceiling of Eletro damage. But as we now know, that's not the case. Either way, it's impressive to see that she is competitive with Raiden.
Well there were lots of rumors going around that time tho, and she was expected to be an on-field dps. According to the rumors, her kit wasnt like this, mihoyo got like 2 or 3 kits designed for her and one of them is to priortise na and charged attacks, that's why her na and ca were designed nicely. But dunno why they ended up choosing the last kit which is this totem one
Keep in mind that, it was Sukuna who said that and he did like 40 leaks in one pic and said that half are fake and half are real, so obviously Yae being electro dps ceiling was fake to me
OMG 3 of my most favorite characters in one Iwintolose video!!! So amazing! Ei is my number one and Yae or Ayato by design are already my number two meanwhile Ayaka or Yoimiya are tied for my number 3 followed by Kazuha who definitely takes that 4th (6th) place!! I do think Yae’s damage is good especially at C6 but I want her bugs to be fixed especially against tracking wolf lord

@IWinToLose Gaming it would be interesting to see how you get your "damage potential" numbers. Beside depending on team / buffs / rotations - I've tried maximizing the damage formula and arrived at 5 coupled quadratic equations (that's not including HP or DEF scaling chars or similar) which look like not so much fun to solve so I stopped. I put them into Mathematica and my PC ran out of memory .. soo uh. Did you solve those or how do you get those "potential" percentages?

you sound like your lying bro, genshin related maths is not that complicated,. It's usually just a combination of addition and multiplication. It includes their weapon, artifact set, artifact substats and highest dps related comp.

I kinda think adding Beidou might help Yoimiya and doesn't seem unfair. Her ability to drive Beidou seems like a selling point for her given Raiden cannot. I'm aware it's not a Beidou but it's not like Kazuha and Sara do no damage either. It's just an additional factor that the dogs are weak to electro and Yoimiya is up against 2 electro as well while not using one of her best teammates who is also electro.

I think what many people are missing is that yae miko is a sub dps,even tho she has more on field time than the others,she’s still amazing,what this means isn’t that yae is worse than raiden and that’s it,but that you can run raiden and yae togheter,which I think is amazing :)
Yae being a sub dps and requiring that much field time is the problem, she isn't bad she just doesn't feel good to play and to top it all she is locked behind C6 to compete against a character that can do similar damage a C2 while providing damage buff and energy for the rest of the team. Yae got shafted by Hoyoverse and a lot of people act like she doesn't balancing out the huge outcry going on in China about her, maybe a dedicated set could make her work but that same set might end up breaking other units beyond her and won't change the bad part of her kit, Field time + being elecro + feeling bad to play + constelations only improving her elemental skill damage + no snapshot + no Iframes. Hoyoverse backed itself against a wall with the weapon now her kit is doomed to depend on that time waste 3 cast gimmik. The character with a gorgeous burst and NA/CA animations is encouraged not to use those and to add salt to the injury she got a story that's just running errands, Hoyoverse did Yae dirty...

Sustained dps like miko and yoi is actually surprisingly a bit better than nukes. As raiden is good but if u dont get her burst on cd its actually pretty bad lmao physical raiden. So sustained dps is actually better in open world situations. While nuke isnt the best open world cuz enemies dies too quickly, in abyss is where they shine cuz abyss is time related and bursting them down is recco so yeah overall Sustained dps > nukes = open world/exploring Nukes > sustained dps = abyss
while the builds on Yae and Raiden are their standard best-in-slot builds, Yoimiya's kit does much better damage per rotation w/ 4pc Crimson Witch since off-field damage proccing her burst is actually a significant contributor to her DPS. I know it's difficult to test team synergy w/ the elements being different, but the comparison here does feel a bit awkward for this reason.
I may be in the minority, but I really enjoy Yae's playstyle. Everything about her design and attacks are gorgeous (Except maybe that energy cost but strictly aesthetically speaking here), plus the ability to move forward while attacking is cool. I know she's a sub-dps, but currently she's my best built damage dealer. I'd love to try her in a Raiden team but at the moment, I'm saving for Venti.
you should consider doing Childe's fight comparison also because Childe's fight is one of the situations where character with sustained dps is better than burst dps, this should be able to showcase a little bit more of Yae's capability

the electro support Raiden wins another dps showdown who would have guessed.. Raiden C2 is the best character in the game together with Benny and Kazuha without a doubt. Support character who beats pretty much every dps character even in terms of damage by her own.
Its things like this that make me ignore those DPS junkies that judge characters before even playing them. Yoimiya and Raiden both had rocky releases, now look at them go now

i regret pulling for Yae, i expected more. I already have great DPS characters like Eula, Ganyu and Hu Tao, so i currently have a character that is great for overworld content, but doesnt help much in my abyss teams. I'm a Welkin only player, so they are all C0.
This just furthers my thinking that most Inazuma characters are built with coop in mind, their kit is somewhat questionable and caused controversy when talking about singleplayer uses[oneshot teams, Spiral Abyss and etc.] but when used in coop the downsides of their kit gets immediately compensated when another player is on field at the same time that being coop mode

Keep in mind these characters are all C6. Yoimiya doesn't get much better with constellations. In fact she should be a better dps at C0 and with a 4* weapon than Raiden and Yae.
Regardless of the characters constellations, there is still the max stats that each character gets via level up front each level ascension as well. We found out the hard way when we had one of the characters dropping back levels, and not even realizing that his stats stopped increasing after a little while of it occurring. The characters stats also might not be technically correct as well, as there is stats that can not get acquired through level up. We definitely found this information out about the game while the rest the people playing it were doing their own independent actions in the game at the exact same time.
It would appear that the new region expects players to have their characters with the highest stats possible as well to have the highest artifacts possible to equip them as well. We have also been improving the artifacts that they have equipped almost every time as well. Then again we are refusing to rank up any more world ranks to see if it actually matters or not.
Remember about the disclaimers guys, these comparisons are fraught with flaws uncertainties and just variances in general. Not to mention these are RUNS and not MATH

As a whale i can't wait till yae gets her own set. It may push all these times up a bit. I will say yae at c6 is the afk queen. You really don't have to do anything but keep her alive and the turrets will clear everything. Shes made the transport mission even easier with her auto target.
I really enjoy Yae(been using a lot of Raiden/Yae since she was released), would've been cool to see a stab at 2.5 floor 12's second half(since I think that side is a little fairer to yoimiya), but overall a really cool comparison
Raiden is just raiden, a pretty good support, and if you lack damage to finish of enemies she just cleans up for you while providing that bit of energy
I’m still secretly waiting for a buff on Yae Miko Super armor while dashing Hold skill would release a mini burst but 9 sec cd and no DoT obv and single target A bit higher NA scaling

I pulled for Yoimiya even though the 4 star characters on her banner were underwhelming and that many people were saying that Raiden was a better character overall. I don't regret double crowning my girl Yoi till today.

I actually voted for Yoimiya so I am REALLY glad to see her here. Especially because I didn't think Keqing would really be even close to comparable to the other 2, and Yoimiya would provide a better metric or underdog in this case.
Man, the fact that Yae doesnt have an artifact set for her, like Raiden or Yomiya, put her in huge low spot. In future, maybe will be a set specific for her, like kokomi after her release.
Maybe this is just copium, but I feel like yae’s damage without a dedicated artifact set is pretty comparable to the units that were tested in the video that do. So I’m expecting her to have higher damage output when she does get her set

Fast foward back 6 months people are cursing about how Yoimiya sucks and if you think otherwise you are coping , comes back to to present, this is exactly what is happening to Yae Miko now.
@@ChiyoTachi Yoimiya never really sucked and while her artifacts arent great she always seemed fun to play. Its just she had the unlucky position of getting released after Hu Tao with a similar Playstyle (E infusion), but arguably more fun as even C0 Yoimiya can spam while for Hu Tao without C1 she's not that fun to play.
The only reason a lot of people skipped her and called her bad was because she got compared to one of the best DPS characters till this day.
However Miko doesn't feel fun to play in my honest opinion. She takes a lot of time to setup and the ult is easily missable.
She looks pretty good on IWTL showcase but that's a C6 Miko where her towers actually do damage. Although I do hope in the future she gets a set that makes her a bit more fun to play like how Kokomi got one cuz I really like her Visual design.

16:25 Beidou instead of Xingqiu really kicks that team up a notch, especially because of the low dual target nature of the enemies you're fighting here. Yoimiya and Beidou work exceptionally well together as they cover each other's weaknesses quite well. I've found beidou can keep up with xingqiu's damage or even outshine him depending on what youre fighting , and in this case she wouldve had a leg up

You only need c2 or c3 raiden to be doing close to this damage.
Besides the remarkable performance of all the contenders, I think it’s worth reminding that Raiden and Yae can be also great sub-dps’s.
They both require field-time but they will reward your team with AoE, off-field damage, energy generation and applying electro with 100% uptime.
The only one pure main DPS is Yoimiya, moreover a Pyro DPS, and still she can compete with the 2 electro buddies only in few scenarios.
Bonus point for Raiden: she is capable to offer the 90% of the potential shown in this video already at C3, probably 80% with EL R1.
considering the abyss enemies were all ones that are pyro resistant yoimiya being only a few seconds short means pyro weak ones she can easily do much better.

in my experiece using yae, she may not be the fastest to beat the enemy but she is one of the highest dps (dmg ser second) coz her main damage is from her elemental skill that didnt have a downtime, in other word consistent damage.
not to mention in overworld exploring she have the most convinient skill that can auto aim the enemy in every terrain.
i guess hoyoverse now considering an overworld/exploring specialize character and boss/ timelimit content specialize character
since there gonna be more character it can be a way to make us use many character in different content not just base on spiral abyss meta.

raiden is easily one of the best characters in GI when it comes to speed running content...high multipliers for her initial slash and easy to get buff for that initial slash and boom with quite large AOE and than w that C2 haha but ayaka c2/c4 and shenhe is good also for speed running content

I started genshin 1 month ago, and I have heard that c0 can act as a really good support, but the problem is I dont even have a main dps character, I am using physical kaeya as my dps now but idk if pulling for raiden will be beneficial for my account. Well there were lots of rumors going around that time tho, and she was expected to be an on-field dps. According to the rumors, her kit wasnt like this, mihoyo got like 2 or 3 kits designed for her and one of them is to priortise na and charged attacks, that's why her na and ca were designed nicely. But dunno why they ended up choosing the last kit which is this totem one
Keep in mind that, it was Sukuna who said that and he did like 40 leaks in one pic and said that half are fake and half are real, so obviously Yae being electro dps ceiling was fake to me

OMG 3 of my most favorite characters in one Iwintolose video!!! So amazing! Ei is my number one and Yae or Ayato by design are already my number two meanwhile Ayaka or Yoimiya are tied for my number 3 followed by Kazuha who definitely takes that 4th (6th) place!! I do think Yae’s damage is good especially at C6 but I want her bugs to be fixed especially against tracking wolf lord
A SUB-DPS being compared with these great dps is what I think makes Yae a well-balanced unit. Can't wait to have both these electro queens.

Beside depending on team / buffs / rotations - I've tried maximizing the damage formula and arrived at 5 coupled quadratic equations (that's not including HP or DEF scaling chars or similar) which look like not so much fun to solve so I stopped. I put them into Mathematica and my PC ran out of memory .. soo uh. Did you solve those or how do you get those "potential" percentages?

More like: lets me flex my Kazuha Bennett and Zhongli. Basically most character would become god tier dps even Amber when supported by those trio.
I kinda think adding Beidou might help Yoimiya and doesn't seem unfair. Her ability to drive Beidou seems like a selling point for her given Raiden cannot. I'm aware it's not a Beidou but it's not like Kazuha and Sara do no damage either. It's just an additional factor that the dogs are weak to electro and Yoimiya is up against 2 electro as well while not using one of her best teammates who is also electro.
All three(I have all three characters) are amazing DPS characters to have, to me, there all top tier characters.

I think what many people are missing is that yae miko is a sub dps,even tho she has more on field time than the others,she’s still amazing,what this means isn’t that yae is worse than raiden and that’s it,but that you can run raiden and yae togheter,which I think is amazing :)
Yae being a sub dps and requiring that much field time is the problem, she isn't bad she just doesn't feel good to play and to top it all she is locked behind C6 to compete against a character that can do similar damage a C2 while providing damage buff and energy for the rest of the team.
Yae got shafted by Hoyoverse and a lot of people act like she doesn't balancing out the huge outcry going on in China about her, maybe a dedicated set could make her work but that same set might end up breaking other units beyond her and won't change the bad part of her kit, Field time + being elecro + feeling bad to play + constelations only improving her elemental skill damage + no snapshot + no Iframes.
Hoyoverse backed itself against a wall with the weapon now her kit is doomed to depend on that time waste 3 cast gimmik.
The character with a gorgeous burst and NA/CA animations is encouraged not to use those and to add salt to the injury she got a story that's just running errands, Hoyoverse did Yae dirty...

Sustained dps like miko and yoi is actually surprisingly a bit better than nukes. As raiden is good but if u dont get her burst on cd its actually pretty bad lmao physical raiden. So sustained dps is actually better in open world situations. While nuke isnt the best open world cuz enemies dies too quickly, in abyss is where they shine cuz abyss is time related and bursting them down is recco so yeah overall

while the builds on Yae and Raiden are their standard best-in-slot builds, Yoimiya's kit does much better damage per rotation w/ 4pc Crimson Witch since off-field damage proccing her burst is actually a significant contributor to her DPS. I know it's difficult to test team synergy w/ the elements being different, but the comparison here does feel a bit awkward for this reason.

I may be in the minority, but I really enjoy Yae's playstyle. Everything about her design and attacks are gorgeous (Except maybe that energy cost but strictly aesthetically speaking here), plus the ability to move forward while attacking is cool. I know she's a sub-dps, but currently she's my best built damage dealer.
I'd love to try her in a Raiden team but at the moment, I'm saving for Venti.

you should consider doing Childe's fight comparison also because Childe's fight is one of the situations where character with sustained dps is better than burst dps, this should be able to showcase a little bit more of Yae's capability

i regret pulling for Yae, i expected more. I already have great DPS characters like Eula, Ganyu and Hu Tao, so i currently have a character that is great for overworld content, but doesnt help much in my abyss teams. I'm a Welkin only player, so they are all C0.

This just furthers my thinking that most Inazuma characters are built with coop in mind, their kit is somewhat questionable and caused controversy when talking about singleplayer uses[oneshot teams, Spiral Abyss and etc.] but when used in coop the downsides of their kit gets immediately compensated when another player is on field at the same time that being coop mode

Keep in mind these characters are all C6. Yoimiya doesn't get much better with constellations. In fact she should be a better dps at C0 and with a 4* weapon than Raiden and Yae.

Contents like these arent made for f2ps, we need a guide for actual f2ps. in that case, almost all characters have different playstyles at c0
Regardless of the characters constellations, there is still the max stats that each character gets via level up front each level ascension as well. We found out the hard way when we had one of the characters dropping back levels, and not even realizing that his stats stopped increasing after a little while of it occurring. The characters stats also might not be technically correct as well, as there is stats that can not get acquired through level up. We definitely found this information out about the game while the rest the people playing it were doing their own independent actions in the game at the exact same time.
It would appear that the new region expects players to have their characters with the highest stats possible as well to have the highest artifacts possible to equip them as well. We have also been improving the artifacts that they have equipped almost every time as well. Then again we are refusing to rank up any more world ranks to see if it actually matters or not.

As a whale i can't wait till yae gets her own set. It may push all these times up a bit. I will say yae at c6 is the afk queen. You really don't have to do anything but keep her alive and the turrets will clear everything. Shes made the transport mission even easier with her auto target.

Bit late to comments, but personally i dont find it fair that raiden can just have full stacks before the fight starts
Raiden is a super useful support while being better DPS than a dedicated DPS character

I really enjoy Yae(been using a lot of Raiden/Yae since she was released), would've been cool to see a stab at 2.5 floor 12's second half(since I think that side is a little fairer to yoimiya), but overall a really cool comparison
Yes yoimiya has places where she is better. She is ment for 1 opponent. Or small far away opponents let yoimiya have her advantages

Raiden is just raiden, a pretty good support, and if you lack damage to finish of enemies she just cleans up for you while providing that bit of energy
"$uPPort" lol. She's a main dps here. But yes she can do both. Unlike everyone else in the game she has multiple utilities.

You pull for whoever you want. But if you're just looking for damage, then as someone who has c2 Yae Miko, Ei is better
