Jamaica has exported it’s lovely music to the world & it’s good to hear & see Jamaicans doing businesses in different African countries: Kenya, Zambia & Zimbabwe, just to mention the countries where I know Jamaicans are doing businesses. We hope nationals of other Caribbean countries will follow into the footsteps of Jamaicans who have realised the need to invest in the motherland. God bless
Thanks Xavier for this interview.I shared it with my son and his family who were visiting in Kenya and they posted a video of their visit and dining experience at the restaurant.
Why don't you have the mans business details in the description box? or linked and pinned here in the comments? C'mon man, I'm going to Kenya in October.
Watching the news and following stories on social media can scare you away from going to Jamaica. However, I find that in reality, Jamaica is no more dangerous than many of the other places where diasporans live. Kenya, for example, has terrorist issues, which are usually not a concern for Jamaicans. I moved back to Jamaica and I have never once felt unsafe. I go out in the daytime and the night, in and around St. Catherine, Kingston, Portland, St. Ann, and St. James. I think those who should be more scared of being the victim of a crime are those who are "mixup" in wrongdoings. Most average Jamaicans go about their business each day without issue.
I will try this restaurant when I return to Kenya. I rank Kenyan food among the bottom of the African countries I have visited. Except for Swahili dishes (mostly on the coast), Kenyan food is bland. I stayed three and two months at a time. I love Kenya and Kenyans!
Thanks for sharing Jamaicans stories world 🌎 wide
The sky is the limit much is also expected from you
I met him when I was in Kenya. I have the BEST rice and peas I ever had. I can’t wait to move to Kenya; but it’s not an easy road.
As a first-time traveler from Kenya to Jamaica, what’s the best route to take that avoids transiting through the U.S. or U.K.?
The most intriguing interview. Thanks, Xavier, for this amazing conversation.
