Thank you for these YG guide videos! They are super helpful and I appreciate the amount of work that goes into researching, creating, and editing them.
@@MainelyHockeyCards because of your UD2 video I knew who to look for and have a huge submission to send with all the big names, all pulled, except Raymond.
I don't know a lot about hockey but I've loved collecting young guns since the first UD hockey in 1990. This year every time I get any YGs, I watch your vids to get an idea about the quality of the player. Thanks for doing these. They are extremely helpful.
Great video, I always look forward to these. Can’t wait for the make up from the past December junior tournament starting this week, love watching the future stars.
You do a great job and I appreciate the comments and stats provided for each player. Thank you! One recommendation, perhaps you can state at the beginning of your video what the grades mean. For example. A= potential all-star, B = potential NHL career, C = potential journeyman, etc.
@@MainelyHockeyCards I hope so bro. I think your right about keeping them for 2-3 years is your best bet. The talent is there but these big kids are not even used to their bodies yet. You want a Caufield auto patch /99 ? lol
I'm watching Thomson since he played with Chabot when Ottawa had all their Covid problems in November and considering it was his 1st stint in the NHL playing top pairing he did well and had some chemistry with Chabot and if the Sens dont go out and get a top 4 RHD then Thomson could very well be playing top pairing with Chabot this year which could be key for his card values
Great take here. My only problem would be that one of the other 5 defensemen would have to get hurt or traded for that to happen. The only guy I can see him really playing over would be Sanderson, who's unproven.
@@MainelyHockeyCards I agree a lot has to go right but if he does make the team he will be on that rope pairing with Chabot likely rotating in it with another RHD
Hey mhk! You should do a sub with fcg grading they have recently lowered prices and changed the grading scale and I think you will lovvvveee it! 💯💯 thx for another awesome video!
@@Furkyz totally true because when i opened the series 1 hobby , the cards were at bad quality (bad edges etc) I also got an Caufield yg but the corners were bad and series 2 is far better than series 1 for the prospects pool like Seider , raymond , lundell , mercer , sillinger , eklund , byfield , mctavish etc and series 1 just have like Swayman ,Caufield , Zegras and Knight .
Go little rockstar @jj Peterka
Buffalo getting some biggies with Peterka in Extended, and hopefully, Power & Quinn in Series 1.
Awesome video to figure out the top 50 young guns in this years extended

Thank you! I will certainly take that recommendation into play for next time, and see if it works! Best
Thanks for the information.
I do the same thing every release and know how long it takes. Well done
Thank you!!
All your comprehensive guides are really complete and usefull. Would be great if you do a 2019-20 video! 👌😁🤘🤞Thanks a lot! Very nice work!
Awesome! Will definitely consider doing it!
Really excited for this set to drop, it’s gonna kill my pockets
Username checks out! Have fun!
Waaay off on lassi Thomson , should be b+ not c+
I think maybe B- but I haven’t seen him, historically, with much offense. That’s across every league he’s ever played in. We will see!
Weak stack. 4 quality cards in the series.
Eh, I think it packs more future potential than most think.

What's the best young guns to invest in under $150?
From this product?
@@MainelyHockeyCards from any recent young guns product
Seider
@@harrimanpd why seider?
im sorry but Barron is B+ or A
Maybe B+.

I'll check it out! I did have a queue outside of PSA, so I may experiment! And, thank you!
I think Sean Durzi deserves an A rather than B+ based on the minutes and high leverage minutes that the LA Kings coaching staff gave him this year.
Let's go!! These are your bread and butter!!
Thank you! Always enjoy making these!!
As a sealed box investment, which of the three series from this year do you think have the most potential?
2 IMO, Mainly knows better tho!
I'd say Series 2. Far and away the best value and potential in Young Guns.
@@Furkyz I agree. Series 2. There is potential is S1 but the quality issues make it riskier.
Series 2 all the way there are 12 grade A rookies out of 50 young guns
@@Furkyz totally true because when i opened the series 1 hobby , the cards were at bad quality (bad edges etc) I also got an Caufield yg but the corners were bad and series 2 is far better than series 1 for the prospects pool like Seider , raymond , lundell , mercer , sillinger , eklund , byfield , mctavish etc and series 1 just have like Swayman ,Caufield , Zegras and Knight .
Michael Pezzetta is easily an A+
Hahaha, love the sarcasm!
Norlinder is also a B
Needs to get back on track from a couple seasons ago. Could hit B, I guess we'll see in the next couple of seasons.
Kind of a crap crop … I’ll be hunting other rookie parallels in this set however
Not the greatest, not the best. I think the extra retro inserts and sets will bring a lot of additional value.
