This was always a beautiful ballad. Lisa Lisa is just so beautiful and so is her voice. This was a great performance. I didn't even notice the "glove in the earring" mishap, but I'm not surprised as this is Lisa Lisa and you know she's going to have some pretty earrings on. You guys sing amazing too ! This was a 180 as compared to the songs like "Can you feel the beat within my heart" and "I wonder if I take you home". Just shows she can sing it all. I remember all the fun times back in the eighties, so much great music of all styles.

I was in basic training and working in the kitchen, then two girls begin singing this song as the clanging of pots and pans almost drown out their singing. Then the men joined in, then more women, until the whole kitchen was singing. Awesome time for music.

She was my beautiful, very talented classmate in high school when we were in talent unlimited with Mr. Friedman and I learned how to harmonize with her because we were both altos. I was 13 when this came out... soul train changed my life..I remember it in the 70s, it came on after cartoons ended at 12 noon. It blew my mind because even then I'd get music stuck in my head for days and had no idea why, especially melodic bass and things. Even at 50 I'm the same and I practice all the time because it makes me feel good. I love lisa lisa too, I learned the thump part in lost in emotion in 87. I'd give anything to find a band that covers this kind of music. I'd work like a slave. I'd really love to incorporate fretless bass in to some things to. I liked full force because they gave ppl like samantha fox a pallete she wouldn't have had otherwise.. That song was exactly like me and my ex husband. He pretty much turned me suicidal/homicidal. According to a shrink after I had a break down.
I think the video of All cried out was not honest and played to the higher ups to use some gq looking white dude. Nothing wrong with using a white guy but not that one. The video would have been better if her bf in the video was the two main singers and not them just floating in the background. love the song so much though.
I wish the female artist today would put on some clothes, sing with real talent, and look this beautiful without showing me their plastic booty, cursing and talking sex talk while I'm work. Please bring back real music before it's too late to have real, quality memories and music.
