I don't understand why they didn't give Megaman 3 an intro cutscene like in 2 and 4
The game is infamous for being rushed and partially unfinished (Check out TCRF for info about all the unused content left in the game), so this is probably the reason why the developers weren't able to make a proper opening
@@nwcr_ I sometimes asked myself about the intro of MM3. It can be like you wrote that it should be like that.
With the story 3 had it really needed an intro lol, yet mega man 2 which is pretty self explanatory got one.
There is a rom hack that gives it one
The 3rd game's intro is such a GOAT til eternity.
I was expecting to see Mega Man 11... I forget it's too recent sometimes.
Mega Man 3: "I, Dr. Wily, will trick that fool Dr. Light into thinking I have changed my ways! I will exploit his naivete and enlist his help in creating a super robot that I will steal, allowing me to conquer the world!"
Mega Man 4: "I will abduct Dr. Cossack's daughter and force him to attack Mega Man! If he doesn't finish that blue annoyance off himself, he will weaken him enough for me to finish him off!"
Mega Man 5: "I will abduct Dr. Light and frame Proto Man for it! Mega Man and Proto Man will destroy one another, and their creator will be vanquished, leaving nobody to stand in my way!"
Mega Man 6: "FUCK IT, I'LL PUT ON A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES!"
Mega Man 7: "Screw it just bust me out of jail and use a new robot to trick Megaman.
Mega Man 8: "Oh shit Megaman somehow found my secret skull shape island were one has never existed before. I will just use my rejects to deal with him"
Mega Man 9: "Dr Light was evil all along. It is so stupid it might work"
Mega Man 10: "Wait we already have a Mega Man X, I will just copy what the villain does in that series"
Mega Man 11: "F it i will just break into lights lab and steel his shit"

La intro de mega man 3 siento que debió tener cinemática para que almenos la parte donde la canción s expone mejor sea acompañada con el titulo
Y no como en la versión final donde el comienzo de la canción es relajante y Pacífico con el título del juego
man what a HUGE leap from Megaman to Megaman 2. on Megaman 3 they pushed it even further. my personal fav is megaman 4.
The design of the intro might suggest that it was also developed for the SNES.

Nah, it was 6. 9 and 10 simply did it in the old 8 bit style as a throwback to the past megaman games.
From part 3 to 6, the intros get more somber. With part 2 having the most melancholy ending.
