When I first bought this EP, the first guitarist I knew for sure, was Yngwie. Listen to it first and then saw the video. The best thing to come out in the 80's!
I have been a fan of these guys for a while now, and only JUST learned about this. Man...the metal scene of the 80s will never be matched. There's a lot of great modern metal, but the 80s era was something else. Such a cool, happy and awesome vibe.

Vivian Campbell in his early 20's trading off with the likes of players the caliber of Lynch , Malmsteen etc. He's often overlooked since taking the gig with Def Leppard but back in the day he could tear it up with the best of them.
You could get singers from all of today's big bands along with the best producers and it wouldn't come close. Pure, raw, passionate, talent. No disrespect to anyone but they don't make them like this anymore

Such a shame how we don't have such talented, beautiful and distinctive voices in the forefront of the music industry anymore Dave Meniketti- Teriffic belter with a husky, masculine timbre very similar to Sammy Hagar Dio- The greatest metal singer of all time hands down, Such a naturally resonant and beautiful voice with an incredible distortion technique Halford- Unparalleled range in his prime with terrific full lows and such a wicked piercing head voice and a very distinctive staccato delivery in his mid-range, even though this was the weakest part of his range Tate- Incredibly rich and operatically trained rounded tone with incredible range and consistency who was as close to technically perfect as possible in his prime Kevin Dubrow- Absolutely effortless chainsaw-like Noddy Holder-esque voice. Unparalleled range. Not the most naturally beautiful timbre however Don Dokken- Along with Sebastian Bach, the best hair metal singer. Lyric tenor with an outstanding head voice with a light, naturally beautiful timbre. Wicked vibrato ala Klaus Meine on certain sustained notes Paul Shortino- Piercingly powerful high timbre with a rough edge and a touch of nasality.
Neal Schon, George Lynch, Vivian Cambell and Yngwie dominated the best guitar solo category. Honorable mention goes to Buck Darma's closing bluesy feel and Adrian Smith and Dave Murray's melodic hook. I used to rewind this over and over just to hear the guitarist go off. Thanks for the post.

I think you can fit that song's synth line under stars and it will sound fine. I need to test it, but as the songs follow similar progressions, tempos, and keys, it may fit note for note
Out of the three mass collaborations that were made in 80's, metal's version was ignored by the mainstream. It has always been the metal artists and fans that make efforts like this live on.

Vivian Campbell in his early 20's trading off with the likes of players the caliber of Lynch , Malmsteen etc. He's often overlooked since taking the gig with Def Leppard but back in the day he could tear it up with the best of them.

Dave Meniketti- Teriffic belter with a husky, masculine timbre very similar to Sammy Hagar
Dio- The greatest metal singer of all time hands down, Such a naturally resonant and beautiful voice with an incredible distortion technique
Halford- Unparalleled range in his prime with terrific full lows and such a wicked piercing head voice and a very distinctive staccato delivery in his mid-range, even though this was the weakest part of his range
Tate- Incredibly rich and operatically trained rounded tone with incredible range and consistency who was as close to technically perfect as possible in his prime
Kevin Dubrow- Absolutely effortless chainsaw-like Noddy Holder-esque voice. Unparalleled range. Not the most naturally beautiful timbre however
Don Dokken- Along with Sebastian Bach, the best hair metal singer. Lyric tenor with an outstanding head voice with a light, naturally beautiful timbre. Wicked vibrato ala Klaus Meine on certain sustained notes
Paul Shortino- Piercingly powerful high timbre with a rough edge and a touch of nasality.

Neal Schon, George Lynch, Vivian Cambell and Yngwie dominated the best guitar solo category. Honorable mention goes to Buck Darma's closing bluesy feel and Adrian Smith and Dave Murray's melodic hook. I used to rewind this over and over just to hear the guitarist go off. Thanks for the post.

Brad Gillis and Neil Schon, from the "wimpiest" bands in the entire video, kicks ass with their solos!
Brad and Neil can play their asses off. People forget Schon played with Santana before starting Journey, and Gillis is underrated as a guitarist.

I think you can fit that song's synth line under stars and it will sound fine. I need to test it, but as the songs follow similar progressions, tempos, and keys, it may fit note for note
