My typical morning: I woke up early this morning at 4:30 a.m. I pray Fajr Solat, then go to the mosque. I get home, then run 2 kilometers. I exercise with push-ups. I read a time management book. I practice speaking English and also my local language, Oromifa. I never go out on an empty stomach. My work involves computer maintenance and software troubleshooting. It's all about my passion. The habit i'm trying to apply in my life is trying to abstain from things that gives me gratification. I'm not talking about insta and tiktok(i don't even have them in ma phone). I'm talking about the little things like not putting sugar in ma drink, or abstaining from fast foods...etc. .cuz when i do this, i become more grateful and value the small things in my life. ( "He knew how to enjoy and abstain from things the most...." i read this from the book Meditation by Marcus Aurelius)
The other thing i'm currently implementing in my life is not to use my phone while i'm eating. This has helped me tremendously. I stopped overeating, and overeating was a little problem of mine😅.
