    hi, your videos are great, useful and easy to follow. it's good to see someone so precise and willing to teach. I have a question: I'm a little worried about what goes in the tubes when I clean up, both for environmental and "plumbing" reasons. I try to let the water decant before I trhrow it away, but it's not always possible. Do you have any special tips about this? Thank you and compliments for your work. :)

    One question for this interesting video indeed (thank you !) : are the pieces already bisqued ? i.e. already fired before glazing or not ?

    You didn't mention what that device is that you have attached to the drill for mixing glazes. What's it called, and is it easy to find?

    • @AWise01
      @AWise01 9 років тому

      the mixing paddle he is using can be found at hardware stores. they are commonly used to mix mortars.

    • @AWise01
      @AWise01 9 років тому

    That stamped vase will get stuck to the tray after firing in the kiln. Do you use wax to cover the bottom?

    • @kelsanswer
      @kelsanswer 7 років тому

      Did you not actually watch the video? Because he clearly covers that. 17:30 - 20:10.

    • @ElectricFan91
      @ElectricFan91 7 років тому

      No he did not. He used a cloth to wipe it off. I asked if he used wax prior to dipping as well.

    • @kelsanswer
      @kelsanswer 7 років тому +2

      Seriously, this is a dumb argument. During this entire section he talks about how he removes the glaze to prevent it from sticking, what will happen if it sticks, and the reason why you wipe it off. He never mentions wax, but clearly covers how to prevent it from sticking, which was your question.

    At one minute, Latin music comes on. Someone's messed this video up. First no sound, then the wrong sound, then no sound.
