thank you for uploading this to youtube for us to hear. i had not heard this sessionprior to this posting. still a band that mean what they say. thankfully their legacy will last whilst the wallpaer music of the charts will fade away.
Agree! This version of "The Fall OF Because" is extraordinary, pure power! I have this radio session but in a way lower quality. Wonder if you are willing to share this one?... In any case thanks for sharing this way!! Cheers!
a session is basically a fresh recording, nothing to do with earlier productions. they are generally based on, and built upon a live performance made that day (usually in a radio - or other high quality - studio), but the artist then has the luxury of adding overdubs if they choose, fixing and mixing it anew. most bbc sessions stand up to established recordings because they are done quickly and so retain the energy of the day and the live performance without being over-produced.
14:10 is one of the best modern Killing Joke tunes ever.
Great set, I love this one and thank you for sharing it with us.
Yaaas. I taped this off the radio at the time but feck knows what happened to the cassette. Great to hear it again. Was an excellent sesh.
