- Now then guys, sorry for the delay in part 2 of the 1.0 ecoboost head gasket replacement, we ended up on with a couple of projects at once, so here we are the rebuild of the headgasket job.
We got the car all back together to find out the VCT solenoids on the camshafts where excessively worn meaning they make a horrendous rattling noise and also through issues with the retarding and advancing of the valve timing.
So more work is needed unfortunately, but sometimes that’s one of them things and may mean extra content for you guys 👌

Not sure if it matters but when you loosed the head bolts, you said it needed to be 45° you actually loosened them 90°.
Cheers buddy, because on that part you’re just lining them up for the next torque setting it’s not too much of an issue, but thank you for noticing as we didn’t 😂

Hi mate i just managed to into live data fuel rail pressure is 1300 psi
And also the fault code i am getting is p0089
Fuel rail oressure regulator 1 performance its says would that be the high pressure fuel rail sensor ? Maybe that sensor is gubbed
