I was in a choir all throughout elementary school and middle school. I could sing high notes so easily and everyone was praising me for my voice, so it felt good that people liked what I did. And someday, out of the blue (it's not like you get a notification first haha right) my voice broke and it felt like my world was crumbling down. I was so depressed, you can't imagine. If you know about Allegri's Miserere, I could sing the highest parts with no issue. All I liked to do was singing and so suddenly I wasn't able to do that anymore. Eventually I had to left the choir. After that, I never sang in front of someone else, ever again. It's been 6 years (I'll be 21 in May and my voice broke at 15). I can relate to how that guy is feeling because it happened to me, and it's terrible. I don't know him or that show, but I hope he finds a way to never stop singing. To not do what I did. (wow why did I write all of that lol). Anyway if anyone is going to read all of that, have a good day ^^
Criss Louis it’s still not late you’re still young if you truly love singing you can start again even though you may fail at first. But everyone failed in life to become successful so fighting for you don’t give up on something you love ! ~~

When I was in the choir I was never shy to be in front of an audience. Even I had to sing in front of hundreds of people. Now that I became older I can't imagine myself in that position. Looking back, I'm really impressed at how brave the young me was. I even think I was totally insane to sing in front of so many people... my personality completely changed

i’m really glad that seyong went to comfort kijung. during programs like this you tend to forget some of the contestants are really young and put under a lot of stress. kijung FIGHTING!
This is upsetting, cause kpop always keeps songs in very high keys, and realistically that's just not in everyone's range. Singing higher does not mean someone is singing better.
It so nice to see these guys bond and help each other out even though technically this is a competition. Can’t imagine what Kijoong is going through here. Being a rookie and the youngest guy competing amongst veterans who’ve been around the industry. And of course, probably during the worst of times, where a stable performance can determine his survival on a show, his voice is starting to break. So its not only frustrating not being able to hit the high notes but now he has to basically relearn to sing/use different techniques in a short amount of time and just hope his voice doesn’t crack on stage.
Ragamuffin I remember starting puberty at an extremely young age and at the time I was doing shows through my elementary school and had some solos that I gave away because of my voice changing. It was absolutely awful and I got picked on a lot because of the changes and how young I was ... As a singer now who is STILL going through vocal changes it is extremely frustrating when you LITERALLY can sing one note this day and the very next day you can't even hit close to that note. I've been going through this for almost 10 years now because I was a second grader when puberty started to hit me ...

Seyong is such a good leader now I feel like listening to myname and then some Seventeen and got7 😂😂 Seyong knows how to make me feel happy amd want to cry at his cuteness gosh I can't take it here stop good of a person😭😭😍😍
My voice break was horrible, before I could comfortably sing ariana grande songs in their original key and was very comfortable in the female range but after my voice broke I was suddenly snatched away from all of that. People used to praise me for being able to hit such high notes but initially when my voice broke I really struggled with high notes. I am now better at them but I sound so much better in my lower range that I tend to just stick to it.

The title didn't mean actually broken. It meant his voice cracked in this clip, another term for it is his voice broke while singing. He said himself it was bc of puberty, nobody said it was broken lmao Puberty just sucks ass, I had vocal training 6th-10th grade and when puberty hit I couldn't hit the notes I used to and my voice would always break...it was embarrassing and aggravating

Lee Woojin ( The East Light) was around the same age for PD101, the younger ones I notice seem to have a lot on their mind and plate when going through survival shows especially these two bc their voices are in the middle of changing😖
The one with glasses is like me. Not because, I also have glasses. But it's because, when we do something new, or uncomfortable, we feel uncomfortable, you feel like you don't think people care, and you also start getting shy, and embarrassed. It's really awkward, and I hate that feeling.
Theres this Survival show called Wild Idol and kijoong is currently one of the 16 idols who survived, and i somehow see that hes loosing his confidence at singing, does he really cant sing much anymore?:(((
