First time doing breathwork. I felt the fear of death and how little I am and how little I know about what it means to be alive. I cried after every round and heavily after the end of practice. Among the fear and anxiety I also felt love for the people in my life and I felt the emptiness of life without people and I felt the desire and the drive to be among and with people. I felt that loving, caring and giving is the purpose of existence. And I am a 31-year old rational man with a skeptical outlook and a solid grasp of psychology. At least that's what I thought. At the moment, all my previous thoughts about life seem so shallow, and all attempts naturally futile. For I see now that you cannot transcend yourself with rationality. You must make a tremendous effort to overcome the habitual to reach the spiritual. I don't know how long this is going to last, but I'm glad I had this experience. Thank you with all my heart!
This was great, I’m 18, need some peace to figure out what I want to study, and simply just wanted to meditate. Did not realize it was DMT breathing until it felt like I was in space traveling at hyperspeed with stars flying past me. This is nuts, will do this again tomorrow.
Mike, you are an amazing teacher, coach and interviewer. I am also an OA certified instructor and have thoroughly enjoyed your you tube videos and breathcast interviews. I just did this and love the experience. I usually do 5 rounds of deep mouth breathing every night with 1.45 of breath retention and 10 seconds of holding my breath. I love breath work it helps me Center and stay calm and peaceful. Focus
This new technique is just mind blowing. Thank you thank you thank you. Wish you could repeat the counts as we inhale Inhale 1, 2... Exhale 1234 and so on.... Please do make a new video with the counts. The music can be softer as your voice is really calming.
