Gouldian Finches, Remco Peters Gouldamadine, water flow in aviary

Gouldian Finches aviary with a water flow.
In this video I will show how I create a water flow in my gouldian aviary.
My Gouldians like to take a bath.There was always a small bath for them, but now it was time to build a bigger natural look water flow.I used flagstones lava stones and EPDM rubber to build. There is used a 14,5 gal. pond basin with a waterfall pump and UV-filter to keep the water free of algae.
To make it look natural and bigger, I used see-through posters, artificial plants and sedum plants.

Truly amazing! Love the aviary . I think you need to change the water bassin quite often due to the bird poop isn't it?

Thanks for your comment, I don’t have to clean the water, because there are filters after the pomp, also UV-filter and I have lava stones in the pond where the good bacteria are sitting, so that’s enough to keep the water clean.
