- Does the Skunk2 Alpha CRX radiator fit if you have an Innovation Competition traction bar installed?
I've read forum posts. I've read Facebook group comments. I've read Amazon reviews. Some people say you have to mount the radiator at an angle. Some people say you have to cut out the supports in the hood. Others say you need to weld tabs on to the traction bar.
I FIND OUT.

Great video... You calmed me down because I ordered the same radiator for my ef and everyone says it doesn't clear the hood
Do you have the Innovative traction bar too?
No... Just the factory
Oh right, it fits even better with that
I run a s2 radi with the traction bar on the stock mount mine is perfect as well
Nut crush test is a good test.
My bottom radiator support must be bend. I can’t close my hood. Going to trim some for the underside away and see if it fits
Pretty much same setup and my cap hits the hood lol.
Nice Radiator I'm debating on the skunk 2 as well or the ebay Aluminum Radiator but what way did u route ur Coolant Overflow Tank did u go the direction of the outlet or curve it over to the passenger side instead thanks just getting ideas 💡 😎🍻
The overflow is in the factory location on the drivers side. I had to use a longer hose.
Thanks for the info
what is that intake heat shield? and also it wont fit in the hatch, its crx specific. i had to cut part of my hood fo0r the cap to fit
It’s custom shield made from some aluminum sheet
Nice, next time put a dab of silicone to test instead of the peanut. lol
The peanuts were right there!
What did you do about the loose driver’s side of the radiator?
I welded a tab with a hole in it to the traction bar. The peg coming off the bottom of the radiator sits right in the hole and I put rubber gasket so no metal on metal vibrations.
@@joelatwar thanks Brotha!
What radiator hosing did you use?
The original stock hoses
sticky side up tape trick... change your life
Smh.. waist a perfectly good peanut like that
I have like really a lot of peanuts
