    Last year, I broke the sub 3 hours barrier in Seattle. My final time was 2:57:33. Now, I am 5 weeks away to race Eugene marathon in Oregon, and my goal is a sub 2:50. A month ago, I raced a half marathon in 1:22:33. Thanks for sharing your personal experiences.

    So glad I found this video. Very informative and motivating. I'm trying for sub 2:50 on 3/4/23 at The Woodlands Marathon. Ran 2:51:36 at London on 10/2/22.

      Awesome effort dropping that 2:51.36 at London Mark. The Woodlands is a GREAT course to go after a sub 2:50. I used to live in San Antonio, TX and spent some time in the Woodlands, beautiful area and flat as a pancake too. Keep me updated how it goes in March.

    Great video Nathan, thanks. I’m 43 and a week away from my first sub 2:50 attempt at the Rio de Janeiro Marathon. I’ve only raced 2 previous marathons: 2:53 (Rio 2022) and 2:57 (Boston 2023). My half marathon PR is 1:19 and I ran a 59 minute 10 mile race 3 weeks ago. I think I can break 2:50, but I’m really anxious so any race tips are welcome, especially regarding pacing. The course is flat, so I guess that’s a bonus. It’s going to be a long week 😅. Keep up the great videos and best wishes!

      Thanks for your support Roberto and very well done having dropped some very competitive times. Keep me updated. I know you are going to run well below sub 2:50. Click in the search bar in my youtube channel "how to run a faster marathon" or thereabouts. Have made a lot of videos on this very topic.

    Coach: I just completed 2:59:51 at cim my first sub -?? Should I do half marathon in early Feb or march? I am going for that 2:50 goal in Boston in april - I felt at one point I was at 2:57 pace at cim until MI 23 - thanks we appreciate you !!

    • @rundreamachieve
      @rundreamachieve  Рік тому +1

      Congratulations on dropping that superior 2:59.51 at CIM. That is NOT an easy course and also where I ran my PR in 2007. Yes, I would run a half in Feb or March leading into Boston for sure. Nice work and keep me posted on your progress. Well done!

      right on Red. Appreciate your support and great job running your first marathon in a 4:06 and dropping that 1:49 half. You are on your way to getting to 2:39. It is not impossible. Keep me posted on your training and racing. Looking forward to hearing about the sub 2:40.
