He’s a backbone of BTS and without him the group would never be the same. The raw emotions of anger and sadness always makes me tear up. I think he encapsulates the emotions the best.
It just silences everyone. To see the emotion on Jhopes face in the last scene is heart breaking. It just brings up the deepest feelings of how a breakup can bring out all the feelings of love, hate, fear, desire, and the feeling of ending your world. Your my Tear.

This song just makes me emotional...and it never changes. Initially, when it was released...everyone was a bit confused...BTS doesn't usually write love songs in a 'mainstream' sense...they are more philosophical...they deal with issues that are not cliche romantic stories....so there was a debate that this song could be about some bad breakup...heartbreak...but it was always unclear. Eventually, they did open up about it and, in a sense, it was about a break up...but it was about BTS potentially breaking up as a group...and it was about heartbreak of artists, in a way, being destroyed by their own dream. They really love what they do...they work so hard and most of the time, they work too hard to the point of exhaustion because they want to perfect their craft & they have set a really high standards for themselves...they always want to give us their best....so to know that they were close to giving it all up is truly heartbreaking....you can see and feel the intensity of that emotion as they perform that song.

It's a unit song by rapline when BTS was planning to disband, and they each wrote their own part, with help from in-house producers from HYBE. Anyone who says a specific member "wrote this song" is discrediting the other two rapline memebers and the pain they all went through during that time, purposefully misleading people.

Military enlistment was looming upon them.. before the "BTS Rule" applied and they could postpone. This song was written by Suga then, when they were thinking of disbanding and enlisting. They all cried when they heard it. And they all cried now, when in the last festa, they talked about taking a break (which again was because of mandatory military enlistment which we came to know about later). They love each other a lot and cannot think about disbandment.. it was always because of enlistment. They could not tell us then. They wrote this and "let go". And they could not tell us now. And they wrote "yet to come".

The song is basically about what a "GOODBYE" is. The rapline is interpreting the word goodbye in 3 ways. For rm it's a tear as in crying For suga it's tear as in ripping apart. And for jhope goodbye is a fear. And this goodbye is about bts... how would bts feel to say goodbye to each other. We didn't know this song was about bts until 2 years after the song was released though. So the entire fandom kept thinking its must a be a regular breakup song and whatnot for 2 years...

Military enlistment was looming upon them.. before the "BTS Rule" applied and they could postpone. This song was written by Suga then, when they were thinking of disbanding and enlisting. They all cried when they heard it. And they all cried now, when in the last festa, they talked about taking a break (which again was because of mandatory military enlistment which we came to know about later).
They love each other a lot and cannot think about disbandment.. it was always because of enlistment. They could not tell us then. They wrote this and "let go". And they could not tell us now. And they wrote "yet to come".

I'm really enjoying watching you guys enjoy bts... its like I'm able to relive the first time I've listened to these songs...
I consider this one of the greatest bts songs to ever exist. A lyrical masterpiece.... like emotions it has put me through is just.... yeah unexplainable.
So the rapline wrote this song in 2018... one of their hardest years emotionally.
The song is basically about what a "GOODBYE" is.
The rapline is interpreting the word goodbye in 3 ways.
For rm it's a tear as in crying
For suga it's tear as in ripping apart.
And for jhope goodbye is a fear.
And this goodbye is about bts... how would bts feel to say goodbye to each other. We didn't know this song was about bts until 2 years after the song was released though.
So the entire fandom kept thinking its must a be a regular breakup song and whatnot for 2 years...
