    To make it clear, no wormhole was developed or created. It was simulated in a computer in 2D space. Physical things could never pass through. However, I think we could use it for communication in the future like talking to people on the moon or mars with no delays.

    • @AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69
      @AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69 Рік тому +63

      Yeah? You're in a 2D space. The z axis isn't really there. In fact you wouldn't even notice it in space. You see from a 2D perspective too,, like pictures. You can draw everything you see on a 2D surface into a 3D picture look up 3D street art. You can simulate a Z axis on a 2D screen. The Z axis appears to give you depth. However depth is perceived aka the depth perception. This is why both reality and illusion exist, well optical illusion. You're more than likely in a box. Some kind of quantum computer perhaps. We assume that outer space is all there is. However, it makes way more sense that the universe is some 2D fractal like that of the Mandelbrot set. Because you're told you're in the 3rd dimension if you actually saw in all 3 LxWxH you would be able to see a sphere or cube all at once. Now before you go off think of it like a video game. If the character became self aware and you tried to tell it it's in a box it wouldn't understand because the box would technically be outside their space and time. Just like how a projection system works our sunlight could be projecting the reality because you literally cannot have a visual picture or image without some sort of light source. Also cameras are based off the eyes. This was discovered. The original camera was a camera obscura which you can create with guess what? A box.

This is also why CEO of DWAVE quantum computers - geordie rose mentioned they are vape to access other dimensions with quantum computing and pull things from out of them. UAP footage from the recent Pentagon UFO declassified material suggests that a force field is used to navigate . That would be bypassing what we think is possible .

    Quantum computers will not outperform classical computers for all tasks (as some claim), but one thing they will definitely be superior at is simulating quantum physics. This was Feynman’s original purpose of quantum computers when he conceptualized them in the ‘80s. Great job Caltech!

    • @themagnificentmanbeard
      @themagnificentmanbeard Рік тому

      Actually, quantum computers should eventually be able to do everything classical computers can do, but with much greater speed and efficiency. Normal computers work with bits, which can be in either 0 position or 1 position. But quantum computers use qubits, which can be in a superposition of both 0 and 1, thus greatly enhancing the capacity for high-speed processing.

      @Brassard1985 Рік тому

      @@themagnificentmanbeard Lol I know what a quantum computer is. And actually, that is not correct. Quantum computers will not outperform classical computers for all types of problems. There have been some recent advancements that show in certain algorithms, quantum computers don’t significantly outperform classical computers. By “significantly outperform”, I mean there isn’t an exponential increase in efficiency. An example is Grover search, in which quantum computers only provide a square root increase in speed, which is not significant at all. However, quantum computers will be very good at solving problems that have exponential efficiency in classical computers, such as many-body problems in quantum mechanics.

    • @themagnificentmanbeard
      @themagnificentmanbeard Рік тому

      @@Brassard1985 Significance is entirely dependent on how large the number is. Here's an example taken from Wikipedia:
      Grover's algorithm is optimal up to sub-constant factors. That is, any algorithm that accesses the database only by using the operator Uω must apply Uω at least a 1 − o ( 1 ) 1-o(1) fraction as many times as Grover's algorithm. The extension of Grover's algorithm to k matching entries, π(N/k)1/2/4, is also optimal. This result is important in understanding the limits of quantum computation.
      If the Grover's search problem was solvable with logc N applications of Uω, that would imply that NP is contained in BQP, by transforming problems in NP into Grover-type search problems. The optimality of Grover's algorithm suggests that quantum computers cannot solve NP-Complete problems in polynomial time, and thus NP is not contained in BQP.
      It has been shown that a class of non-local hidden variable quantum computers could implement a search of an N N-item database in at most O ( N 3 ) {\displaystyle O({\sqrt[{3}]{N}})} steps. This is faster than the O ( N ) O({\sqrt {N}}) steps taken by Grover's algorithm.

    • @Brassard1985
      @Brassard1985 Рік тому +1

      @@themagnificentmanbeard Was entirely unnecessary to post that directly from Wikipedia.. I’m the one who mentioned Grover’s algorithm in the first place. When we talk about efficiency, “efficient” usually means anything that can be solved in polynomial time. There are certain algorithms, like factoring, that have exponential time complexity for classical computers, but quantum computers can solve them in polynomial time. Thus, providing an exponential speed up. In these types of problems, “quantum supremacy” hold true. In other words, as the size of the input grows, it will eventually not be possible for a classical computer to solve the problem in a feasible about of time. Hence, the quantum computer provided an exponential time saving, which is quite significant. However, in the case of Grover’s search, quantum computers provide a mere square root speed up compared to classical computers, which is not quantum supremacy. The classical computer will always be slower, yes. But as long as the quantum computer can solve the problem in a reasonable about of time, so can the classical computer. My entire point is that quantum computers are not inherently better than classical computers at solving all types of problems. This idea that quantum computers will always be exponentially superior is simply false. I would direct you to listen to Scott Aaronson’s interview on the Lex Fridman podcast. He discusses this topic.

    To people wondering whether it was a real wormhole or a simulation, the short answer is this:
    they did not do a real wormhole. However, a 'wormhole' is the closest thing to what they did within the layman's understanding. it also was not as much 'create' or 'develop' as it was "do a thing that gives kinda similar results using different mechanics as a wormhole, but we think that they are the same underneath"
    it is so freaking complex that i can barely understand the words let alone the methods.
    what they did also isnt 'just a simulation'
    they did the funky things, in real life. when some scientists refer to them 'simulating' a worm hole, the word 'simulate' is not our classic understanding of simulate, (like a programmed math model, or the marbles on a sheet demonstration of gravity), but in this case the connecting factor isnt something preordained, but a (proposed) duality in the laws of physics.
    ArsTechnica has a great article on this.
