I can see a lot of potential in this to combine the Adventure and Boost formulas into one, it just needs some polishing and maybe add the drift to the moveset.
@@marcosvfilho8687 I was originally going to say Unleashed as well, but Generations has the more refined boost gameplay out of the two, so I figured that's the go-to for boost in 3D.
Rigging glitches, rough transitioning between certain areas of the level, points where you HAVE to figure out where you need to go in order to proceed, Sonic's mouth isn't shown moving when it's supposed to when playing his voice clips, cruel camera angles, underwater sections and lasers, screwy enemies during certain parts (the three robots with the lasers section are a prime example, and the other robots straight up don't attack you), and that's 10 things I can list off the top of my head. I think it should be like adventure 1 where you can toggle it to be freeform or fixed. Just don't make the toggle on the settings instead on a button like the r3 button on the PlayStation controller which is basically the analog stick you know like pressing down on the stick.
The song is like His World but it doesn’t start Why is this called Sonic Illusion anyways? That makes no sense, unless this whole game is an illusion or this has something to do with the phantom ruby.
Well hold on, questions like these should only really be asked if they show a story that has nothing to do with the name or something. But they're clearly still working on basic gameplay elements, not even environments or plot yet.
My only complaint would be that the boost is a bit disorientating, it can easily confuse you in where you are with that effect, kinda like the infinity engine, but that would be about it.

I think wats working so well for this engine is the automatic camera set up. Although this is just a tech demo, the camera is one of the best ones I've seen in any sonic title fan game or not. It feels so cinematic when its pushing away and pulling closer to sonic at just the right times. The only huge issue with this is if the player goes off the set out path, at that point the camera looks to be stuck in its previous state. If the developer can keep this amazing camera while also allowing room for some freedom, then we truly got something special here (even though its already looking amazing)
