This does not work at all. -_- Tried it and went through all my sound devices and no ps4 audio or testing was heard. It doesn't even make sense that it would work to begin with so I was pretty optional about this
back when I had one monitor this worked fine, however, I have now upgraded to a two monitor set up and whenever I switch to the HDMI input for my console I hear the little deactivation noise as if you unplugged a device from the computer and now I cant hear the console audio.
So I got the external audio card for my laptop (windows). I can now hear my computer and xbox on my headset, but my friends wont hear my mic or hear what the xbox is playing. I have the monitor connected to the microphone input on the sound card, then my headset to the headset input. I guess that's where the microphone gets lost? Any help please?
You can use the Xbox game bar app to go into xbox party's on pc, this is the only way to use your mic because it's connexted to your pc and not to you xbox.
So can I use my blue yeti microphone at the same time doing this because I’m plugging the aux from the monitor into the microphone port on my pc will I still be able to have my mic and sound both work as input devices?
If you have enough input’s for the two “microphone” devices, yes. If not, you can buy external jacks called a 2 to 1 where you have 2 fable mic inputs converging into one male jack.
so i just want this to hear a podcast/ yt videos without 2 headphones. Can talk with my friend on ps4 using this? bec they are not on the pc but on ps4?
I realize this video is kind of old and I’m going out in a limb asking. But I have a unique situation. I have a ps4 slim so no optical output. I know I’d need an hdmi audio extractor. But how would set up a mixer with my ps4 and my phone so I can hear discord and game audio at the same time without audio lag.

Can you still talk through your headset if you do this or do you need to have a separate microphone?
I think you will need a separate microphone for the pc.
I enabled all of them and still can't hear my PS4 :(
I have my headphone plugged in to my laptop via usb but the sound coming from my console is horrible and staticky. I’ve also switched from usb to just the headphone jack and the sound is still horrible and low quality. I know the ground loop isolator will remove the static sound but can it fix the audio?
Probably
How did u make it work with a laptop? Please respond
Can anyone help?! What should I do, I have the Arctis 7p wireless headset but I want to hear my xbox audio while using my pc (headset is connected wirelessly to the pc via USB "C" dongle) and I want to do this while using my headset connected wirelessly ( I don't want to connect any cables to my headset to use it wired, I want to use it wirelessly the whole time.) Any suggestions??
What happens if you dont have a PC?
Please Reply back!
i have the ground loop isolation and i still hear the static, any other options ?
I would try messing around with the 3.5mm cable you have, or possibly trying another one.
same
Question can can you hear both a discord call and a PS4 party at the same time and could you talk to both your PS4 party and the discord??
You would need a microphone that would work on your PS4 and PC. Not sure how PS4 connect their microphones
CAN YOU TALK TO YOUR XBOX PARTY CHAT USING THIS METHOD?
You would need an external mic that hooks up to your Xbox
Im using this for a ps5, but it doesn't seem to work. I have no disabled devices either.
This does not work at all. -_- Tried it and went through all my sound devices and no ps4 audio or testing was heard. It doesn't even make sense that it would work to begin with so I was pretty optional about this
You need to go to sound options on your PlayStation and change the output to TV for it to work. By default it’s set to controller I think
back when I had one monitor this worked fine, however, I have now upgraded to a two monitor set up and whenever I switch to the HDMI input for my console I hear the little deactivation noise as if you unplugged a device from the computer and now I cant hear the console audio.
have you been able to fix that?
which aux cable should I use
So I got the external audio card for my laptop (windows). I can now hear my computer and xbox on my headset, but my friends wont hear my mic or hear what the xbox is playing. I have the monitor connected to the microphone input on the sound card, then my headset to the headset input. I guess that's where the microphone gets lost? Any help please?
You can use the Xbox game bar app to go into xbox party's on pc, this is the only way to use your mic because it's connexted to your pc and not to you xbox.
Doesn’t work on laptop
I can hear discord and my switch but my mic wont work! HELP!
I purchased the ground loop isolator and I am currently using it however I'm still hearing static noise in my headphones is there any solution?
Make sure your console, PC, and monitor are plugged into the same outlet if possible. This should help.
@@RevohYT thank you alredy did btw
This works when I plug my aux cable into the blue jack in the back of my pc but only get sound out of my left ear does anyone know why?
I realize this video is kind of old and I’m going out in a limb asking. But I have a unique situation. I have a ps4 slim so no optical output. I know I’d need an hdmi audio extractor. But how would set up a mixer with my ps4 and my phone so I can hear discord and game audio at the same time without audio lag.
Do u do this will ur pc hear wat ur headset mic hears?
