I don't disagree with you the build up to the super sayian and the final transformation was epic, but I thought the first time goku went SS3 was pretty amazing too. The background music was intense the whole scene was amazing and it was a surprise, I don't think it was mentioned before that. Just my opinion

Facts!!!! By far the best nothing compares, you don't truly appreciate unless you were old enough to witness when it first happened back in the 90's. There was no spoilers on the internet or social media just saturday morning cartoons.

@@leultrainstinct406 Dude, just no, ssj first appeared in the 90s, there was no internet, and yet when Goku first became a super saiyan, litterally everyone loved it and got excited. Nothing beats ssj, just nothing could ever even get close to it, no matter how much hype there is about new things.
I love how super saiyan 4 is channeled super saiyan oozaru. Puts in to perspective how strong it really is
The visual effects right before SS4 becoming the oozaru is pretty awesome.
It's actually even better. It's Oozaru and Super Saiyan 3 put into balance. Two of the strongest powers that Saiyans can access in the GT timeline.

I absolutely *LOVED* the idea that in order to get to SSJ4 they had to "take a step back" by turning into an Ape, but only after he achieved SSJ2 first.

When Goku was burning out of Ultra Instinct and he lost control of the Kamehameha for the first time right before Jiren caught him mid air was a nice touch! 👌 It showed how hard it is to be able to control the power of Ultra Instinct.

I always loved how the screens explode for Super Saiyan 3. Especially the final one facing the audience, as though that's meant to be your screen! Cracks me up every time.

Personally, in order for SSJ4 to be Canon, It would need to be Broly specific.
He's already primal by nature, and thus he would have an easier time controlling the Oozaru form than any other Saiyan with the proper training.
Just a quick visit with Shenron to get his tail back (Unless it's beyond his power because of how strong Broly is and how much power could be contained in his Oozaru Transformation) and it's the perfect set up, maybe afterwards the others could achieve it but I feel like Broly deserves it after everything he's gone through in the canon, and it's so fitting in my opinion.
Cool idea.
Other way they could implement it, is that to achieve full control of ultra instinct they try to get their tails back, so they could transform into ozarus and try to control the form as a form of self control training. And successfully do it a few times and use it in some fights, but then try to combine it with super Saiyan which works, but then with ultra instinct, and then accidentally turn into super SSJ4 instead and discover that SSJ4, is like a even stronger ultimate combination of Ozaru, SSJ God and Ultra instinct.
Basically make SSJ4 the most ultimate saiyan, form the true SSJ God form.
Kinda closing the whole circle.
From Ozaru and a humanoid being the first basic forms, of a Saiyan to the most powerful form being a Monkey god form, that looks similar to Sun Wukong.
Gohan going Super Saiyan 2 will always be my favorite transformation. “Stop it! That’s enough!”

I watched this series when I was a kid, and I had kinda forgotten about it. But apparently, it stayed in my subconscious. As I began going to the gym and built a good physique, it clicked with me the other day that I've been unconsciously resembling Goku's physique and hairstyle for a while.
Goku going ssj2 against majin vegeta is one of my faves. Hes pissed and sick of his mouth at that point! Lmao. Plus he got that SSJ3 in the back pocket. But im glad he saved it. And 8:41 is one of my all time favorite fight sequences. You can literally feel the power of the offense and defense. Its like two immovable objects and animated so cool! Pikkons theme fit that well.
Goku's SS Blue with Kaio Ken is such a cool form - I loved how it was a mix of this god like power he's found, but pushed even further beyond using a technique he learned from King Kai. SS4 just looks so badass and edgy. I would have loved to see regular SS mastery when him and Gohan come out of the time chamber included in this - that was such a whole new level, raw power of the SS but in a natural state!
Kai-o-ken isn't a transformation. It's a technique, literally taught by King Kai as any fighter can learn it, but it's just Goku only because story reasons.

Namek and Buu Saga Goku was Goku at his absolute peak. He was an absolute badass is both sagas and his first transformations turning super Saiyan 1 & 3 were huge moments in anime history.
Especially when fused with Vegeta to make Vegito on season 9
SS4 is a really unique design. I love the notion that it’s the true evolution of a Sayain- this is much better than Super Sayain God in my opinion.
That being said, I actually really really loved Ultra Instinct. Something about the delivery and how they made it feel fleeting and special.
But isn't it really strange how he's back in adult form? I guess we are just to assume only an adult body could hold that power though.
@@hitkid2456 let’s be honest gohan and gotten and trunks are exceptions because they have been trained by advanced saiyans who have already mastered the ability of transformation. No average saiyan at a young age would have the ability to transform so early in life.

While I love Goku's Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue & Ultra Instinct, Super Saiyan 4 Goku will be my favorite because it was culmination of the Saiyan transformation. From his Great Ape Oozaru to 3 Super Saiyan forms, Super Saiyan 4 form is by far the most powerful & memorable transformation.

That's one thing I've always disliked about Resurrection F. SSJB reveal was fucking terrible in the movie. Not just because SSJG wasn't used as the base but also because the reveal itself was so rushed. The anime version did a way better job at revealing SSJB.
I respect Goku a lot, he was part of my childhood all the way up to my adulthood (still) and his character development is just godly. Through every struggle he has come on top no matter what, Bardock and Gone would be absolutely so proud of their son Goku (a kid that accidentally had a fall on his head, led him to become the strongest Saiyan warrior of Saiyan history). I hope they bring in Granolah into the anime and Prince (king) Vegeta 4th ultra ego transformation asap into animes.in the near future because man the manga is juicy haha

The lead up to the tournament of power gives me chills, starting at someone who is of above average power to someone who has broken physical bounds and is at one with the mind, it just feels so conclusive and right

Every transformation was so iconic
Goku’s attempted kill shot on Frieza during the 20x kaioken is so extremely underrated to me. Goku was as close to over the edge as he could get, and the power he needed was truly unconscionable to him at that point. It also further proves just how strong Frieza was in his 100% state. I say that even after watching this video, seeing the SSJ transformation occur, which is Goku truly grasping as his own sanity, as he experienced unbridled, unmitigated rage, finally allowing him to erase the limitations completely. That being said, the animation for the SSJ2 power up, and subsequent fight with SSJ2 Vegeta is the best in the series hands down - imo.
