- This videos shows how to replace the lamp in a car interior light, this is a relatively easy job and should only take a few minutes. The cost of a new lamp was £1
I used tissue when fitting the new lamp as some lamps (halogen) can burn out quickly if you leave finger prints on them.

Good simple instructions as always old bean! It reminds me of that episode of Bottom, where Richie thinks of the nastiest thing he can to do to a Welshman, & he suggests stealing his car keys, sneaking in to his car, "& you know that little light above the dash board? Yeh, we're gona switch that on! And by the morning he should have a pretty flat battery"! Scary Darey! LOL!

You can check the fuse, but you might need the cars manual to identify the correct one.
You can also check the door switch, which is normally located on the hinge side of the door pillar.
thanks for posting,might sound daft but simple jobs like this can mean a trip to the garage for some
just a small addition i would test the bulb before re fitting the cover

Do you know what I can do my car did not came with any light on the interior front of the car how can I add one to the front?
I want to change reading lamps from old lamps to led lamps but when the door is closed leds are slightly blinked. It can cause baterry drop.
What can I do for this?
I have no idea. I don't use LED lamps in vehicles, perhaps ask ua-cam.com/users/bigclivedotcom

I have a question. My dome light is working, but the on/off switch has lost its' grip. For example, when I try to turn it to the on position, it just slides loosely, there is no click or grip. Please help me figure it out! I don't want to go to a mechanic. Thank you!
