In terms of atmosphere and presentation your videos are by far the best. Other videos I will watch to learn, but yours I watch to learn AND to just enjoy! That shirt came out beautifully!!
Thank you so much Ma'am Kim for the observations about my video and for appreciating my work. It means a lot to me, to keep me uploading more tutorials.. Have a nice day!❤️
I love watching you work! Everything you do is exceptional from design creations to production here on YT. You know how to educate as well my friend. Your creations are gorgeous and you inspire others to be creative. Thank you! I saw you mist the dye powder after each application. I can't believe I haven't thought of this. It seems so simple but it's Brilliant!
Thank you for appreciating everything about my video. I'm glad that it can help others at some point. Yeah, I mist it to keep them intact a little bit.🙂
I was really hoping to learn how to tie these but I don’t learn well at a fast pace. You have the patience of job to work this long and hard to make a T-shirt like this. The result is beautiful. So incredible. It’s a shame it’s not cost effective to make them to sell. You’d have to charge $150 to get paid fairly for the time and products it would cost to make one of these. Your skills are amazing! ❤
Really need to use more printed descriptions in the video. Spent a ton of time flattening out the left sleeve, but no clue what the issues was. Appeared to place rubber bands at the angle peaks, but then did some sort of "Mandala wrap" (no idea what that is) and that wrap did not seem to be based on the placement of the rubber bands or the fold angles. Very difficult to learn and remember "why" something is done in a fast forward video with no info to help us understand. Shirt looks fantastic, but I really have no clue how to attempt it.
Sorry for the lack of information in my video. I'll try my best to improve my future vids. I hope someday you will discover how to execute this design. Keep trying Sir.
do you use calsolene or sulfated castor oil as a wetting agent? Can you get crisp defined lines and prevent bleeding with just salt and xantham gum? I am using urea and sodium alginate but I have problems penetrating deep into the folds and keeping the dye from bleeding.
In this tutorial, since it was an ice dye process I didn't use any of them. But, for the liquid dye process, I'm using xanthan gum, calsolene, and urea. To get the crisp and defined lines you need to tie it tightly and dye it dry so that it can penetrate deep.
