Definitely a persimmon tree. We had one that would be loaded down with fruit every year and the deer never ate from it. Others that were growing underneath oak trees would have a few persimmons and the deer would hammer them.

Jeremy, I was wondering if you guys had any issues with hogs getting in the feed trough?
Not yet. We have a hog wire fence around an acre or so around the trough that we plant a food plot in. So far they are staying out of it.
