You have to twist while your twisting, if that makes sense. I felt the same way but I just kept trying. Eventually the ancestors guided me😂 practice makes perfect. You’ll get it. I believe in you. 👏🏾
I grabbed all the ends of the twist in sections (4-5 twists) and I put perm rods on the ends then dipped it in hot water to get the curly end look, or another way I like to do it, is to braid all the ends of each twist then dip it. ♥️

Attach the hair in small strands then you appt it to the hook close it than you pull it through the hair that is in the rubber band and keep doing that method until it is full to your liking. I believe dip it in hot water and put a lighter to the very ends just run the lighter up and down the tips
