Why is this masterpiece of a band so underrated?
They are are actually well known in their homeland New Zealand and Australia. When they tour Europe and UK the gigs are generally sold out, at least twice that I've seen them live in Birmingham and Cardiff it was really busy with fans from all ages and walks of life.

I like fat Freddy's drop. Obviously, so do you. But I wanted to give you a little insight. You indicated that this was the best band ever. Apparently you don't get out here a lot of musical or have ever heard a lot of world class musicians play.
There's nothing that stands out about the musically to me. They don't have a bass player, or a drummer. Which makes them part of a band. The rhythm section is the most important part of the band and if your programming the music then you're not playing it. I live in America and I've had the opportunity to see some of the best musicians you'll ever hear in your lifetime.
That includes popular and non-popular musicians. You can step into any black church and listen to the musicians and they are off the chain. Versatile, with a lot of chops.
I'm partially to drummers and bass players. Perhaps from the band is able to incorporate a live drummer and live bass player it will certainly give them a different sound. But you can't call them a great van if they don't have a live rhythm section.
Just something to think about. I like their music and I enjoy when they perform. I just wouldn't consider them a great band not any stretch of imagination. Peace and blessings!
