He lived up to his oath. Thank you Dr

Don’t often see a doctor emotional
Hope he gets support❤
I worked with Dr Sweetland as his nurse for several years. He is an excellent physician. So glad he was there to help out. Prays to all involved. Thank you Jim for your selfless service to those in need.
❤

What’s his nurses name?
As a L&D nurse I cringe at the fact that anyone can back Trump due to the abortion bans that ensued that are taking women’s rights, their lives and their health ,daily, in many states.
@@JNosewicz7569Abortion takes away an innocent baby's life, not the woman's. As a nurse, you should support nurturing life instead of supporting killing life.
What a beautiful human being you are Dr. Sweetland. The US needs your message.

Very professional interviewer. Thank you for not interrupting Dr Sweetland
This Dr. is so sincere and he is deeply affected. I hope he takes some time off. He really embodies his last name, Dr. Sweetland.
I think he should probably get counseling. This is not the same as taking incoming at the ER

@janetprice85 True, but usually, doctors aren't around when the shots were fired.
@janetprice85 ER doctors are not first responders or combat medics. This was a whole different experience for this amazing gentleman, sadly.
Thisis the BEST coverage of this event, no partisan stuff, no blaming, nothing. Just an honest man sharing. Awesome job by the newscaster as well, respectful and did push for more and more. Round of applause to you.
Agreed. Credit where credit is due. Thank you for putting aside the political agenda for just a few minutes.
There is only one side to blame for this. The one saying, “Threat to Democracy” and “If Trump gets in it will be our last Election!” this is on Biden and the Press who have been asking and inciting this for 8 years.

Corey died protecting his wife and children, who had to witness his horrific death. Thank you to Dr. Sweetland, who endures so much trauma to help others.
Who is the man who was killed and where was he actually sitting in correlation to Mr Trump? I did see a boy in the stands behind Trump and over his right shoulder
😢
Prayers for everyone 🙏✝️
All my condolences from Europe. It's so heartbreaking. Unbelievable, may he rest in peace.

A good interviewer knows when to shut their mouth and let someone speak. Powerful piece.
exactly.
I noticed the same. This reporter does this typically.
This reporter acted like he didn’t hear what the doctor was feeling! Disgusting.

@@123RockchildHe was probably a democrat. Some of them have spoken of doing it themselves so there is that..

Dr Sweetland's humble, gracious recognition of ems, first responders and the army veteran as well as his kind bedside manner towards the victim's family is a reflection of a great man!
😢 wow!
There seems to be so much toxicity and hatred in America that it’s so comforting to hear kind words from good people
What a human doctor. Such empathy spoken so eloquently.
I agree. It's very comforting to feel his empathy and knowing there are good people who still have the capacity to feel deeply for others and for life.

“Brother, are you ok?”. Those words are what we need. We need to take care of each other, regardless of race, religion, political beliefs, background. My heart and prayers are with Dr. Sweetland, the innocent man who lost his life so senselessly, his grieving family, all who are suffering and traumatized. STOP THE EVIL AND START PRAYING. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Rendering aid and simply asking if one is okay to a complete stranger in a time of need is two of the most selfless acts and reminds me of what Americans are truly about when we put our differences aside. God Bless Dr. Sweetland and the Veteran in which he spoke of.
Yes…when people can put their differences aside..as we should. Political party should not define who we are as individuals, as fellow human beings. We all have more in common than most would think, if we would just stop and really look at each other and listen and have compassion for each other…
Very well said. Amen

I was telling my daughter that it had to have been a major shock for the ER doctor to be in shock after the shooting.💜
Thank You Doctor; you went to work to try to save a life. Thank you for jumping in! You are a TRUE AMERICAN🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏💪💪
Man, what an emotional interview. You can tell that Dr. Sweetland is a really good man. He may not have been able to save Mr. Comperatore, but he is still a hero. And it was so encouraging to hear him talk about the army veteran that offered him some water when he was clearly in shock. I actually saw a video with some extended footage, and I saw someone offer him some water, shouted out, "Water! Water!" to a small group of people, and then you see like 20 people offering their water bottles. Dr. Sweetland is right - THAT is what America is all about, people coming together in times of tragedy.
Anyone else start to cry watching him talk?
Thanks, Doc! The Army Medic veteran did right, and your story is so emotional. I was an Air Force firefighter-EMT, Army Reserve combat medic, and nurse. Your story will be in this American's memory always. So from one "Doc" to another thanks!
His story matters to us. Thank you to the doctor for telling what exactly happened. I trust the first person accounts of what happened.
Absolutely 💯
It is so very important right now for America to see the humanity coming from this. My heart goes out to him for what he witnessed and his effort to try to save a life.
Dr. Sweetland, out of all the people on earth God chose you. Your service, your message. 🇺🇸

To see the doctor who helped the man who was shot at the rally; it stirred deep emotions in me. In times of need, we must support each other, regardless of our differences. We are one nation under God, committed to the good of the people and our country. Let's unite and stand as one. God bless him and the man who lost his life.
