    I worked with Dr Sweetland as his nurse for several years. He is an excellent physician. So glad he was there to help out. Prays to all involved. Thank you Jim for your selfless service to those in need.

      As a L&D nurse I cringe at the fact that anyone can back Trump due to the abortion bans that ensued that are taking women’s rights, their lives and their health ,daily, in many states.

    Man, what an emotional interview. You can tell that Dr. Sweetland is a really good man. He may not have been able to save Mr. Comperatore, but he is still a hero. And it was so encouraging to hear him talk about the army veteran that offered him some water when he was clearly in shock. I actually saw a video with some extended footage, and I saw someone offer him some water, shouted out, "Water! Water!" to a small group of people, and then you see like 20 people offering their water bottles. Dr. Sweetland is right - THAT is what America is all about, people coming together in times of tragedy.

      Although his family is traumatized, no doubt... He is not asleep. He is awake and he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he will see his family again someday. I heard it said that he was a Christian and so I'm just passing that forward.

    Thank you Dr. Sweetland for trying to render aid to this man. I know this will affect you for a long time. Your words of your experience are very touching speaking of the Veteran that helped you after you helped someone else. I'm sure that even though you couldn't help the deceased man, you were a comfort to his family just trying to. God bless you sir, that you will be able to overcome this tragedy and carry on stronger in your everyday life.

    You can tell that even this seasoned physician is terribly shaken by this event. I cry with him. This just breaks my heart for anyone everyone that was there witnessing this tragedy.

    That's a wonderful Dr. The care for the man that was killed 👏 but even more so his concern for the man's family! I don't remember anyone caring in the hospital when I lost my husband!

    Lesson to be learned..this doctor is trained to be an emergency responder..but he still is human he still has a heart and he too needed someone to just offer him a hand..to simply ask if he was ok meant alot to him. I think we forget that at times
