    Man, what an emotional interview. You can tell that Dr. Sweetland is a really good man. He may not have been able to save Mr. Comperatore, but he is still a hero. And it was so encouraging to hear him talk about the army veteran that offered him some water when he was clearly in shock. I actually saw a video with some extended footage, and I saw someone offer him some water, shouted out, "Water! Water!" to a small group of people, and then you see like 20 people offering their water bottles. Dr. Sweetland is right - THAT is what America is all about, people coming together in times of tragedy.

      Although his family is traumatized, no doubt... He is not asleep. He is awake and he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he will see his family again someday. I heard it said that he was a Christian and so I'm just passing that forward.

    You can tell that even this seasoned physician is terribly shaken by this event. I cry with him. This just breaks my heart for anyone everyone that was there witnessing this tragedy.

    Thank you Dr. Sweetland for trying to render aid to this man. I know this will affect you for a long time. Your words of your experience are very touching speaking of the Veteran that helped you after you helped someone else. I'm sure that even though you couldn't help the deceased man, you were a comfort to his family just trying to.
