@@kyonoodles someone did the math and its pretty comparable since it means hexa octo and the assault summon comes up 2-3 seconds earlier, i think not canceling howling was slightly better pre 2nd mastery but i think with 2nd mastery it should be better or the same to cancel imo, also safer bursts. depends on your hexa too but i also cancelled sometimes to get the hits with conti since i used that till the final burst
Stupid question but I am trying to decide between my 6th job bucc and 6th job hoyoung as my main, and I'm wondering from an endgamer bucc's perspective how they compare? I hear Hoyoung is stronger but I know it's DPM is worse. Curious what your thoughts would be?
honestly i would just play whichever you have more fun with, both classes are getting good buffs from the KMST we just saw (not exactly sure what hoyoungs got). I think they're both really good, hoyoungs burst is obviously better in end-game bossing as thats just how it is in a burst meta with fd stacking. Bucc does get a pretty good burst increase so I don't think its the worst but its definitely not comparable to hoyoungs burst. both classes have really fun and insane mobility options so I really don't think you can go wrong with any option. If I had to choose one I would choose hoyoung because with the way the game works it seems like it will always be a burst meta, so imo hoyoung is probably better just due to the survivability kit it has too with gate, self door, and way more precise movement. I do have a libbed 275 hy 2nd main i used to play more but is now a boss mule and i have no complaints other than the setup to burst taking a long time. at the end of the day just play what you enjoy more or your motivation may not be there
@@Sylanthus bucc is not the greatest in the burst meta at the endgame since its only lf orbs + howling but its good at certain bosses like seren, lotus, kaling p1/p3. its not the best but honestly not the worst either, there are classes who have it way worse in the end game burst meta, and i'd say bucc is solid in the middle. But I feel like I enjoy bossing on my bucc a little bit more because of the way his movement works, though obviously hy movement is insane too. I also think for solo bossing the dpm is really nice, but eventually I’ll need to get more into party bossing. Not sure if that’s a big deal for pre-endgame party bossing. A hard decision for sure.
@@Sylanthus yeah i enjoy bucc’s playstyle more which is being able to stick to the bosses and rip DPM but if you’re looking to main i’d only really look at party bossing since if you’re funded enough and strong enough the solo bossing is whatever and those bosses will blow up anyways
