I am a highly impressed by Lauren and her outright enthusiasm/determination to learning new things!!! Watching her episodes make me feel like hitting the pause button and resume training as if I never left the military in an artillery unit!!!! IN SHORT: YOU ARE A MOTIVATOR LAUREN
She came in there with a great attitude, and didn't flinch at anything. That was a great axe toss on the bullseye. A lot of beginners on the chainsaw cut on a curve and wedge the bar in the log, but she made good, flat slices, that's harder than it looks for a beginner. And some folks chicken out halfway up the pole, or they quit if they slip. I'm impressed. I don't ever plan on doing any logging again, if I can help it, but a few loggers like her on the crew would probably get me out there.
I kinda want to see her do the same thing for WLC which is coming up next year in Norway, i'd be curious to see her change a chain, do the limbing discipline or the relay race.
Nice job! Logging is not easy. My family has been logging the Northwest for close to 100 years and you did real well. The single buck is hard, I remember my dad making me work it as punishment.
Damian Rivero Definitely...the first time i saw it I thought it might be her...same body type (as in thin and fit and dead sexy) and same super cute face...
Relax guys. She is not trying to make a living as a lumberjack.. This was meant for fun and I enjoyed watching it. Hell I give her credit for just trying and she was successful on all of it with one day of practice.
its these type of guys who are actually worth a damn when it comes to working long hours on a farm, moving a family out of a 5 bedroom house, or clearing trails to access a hunting cabin. would rather ask a lumberjack buddy to help out any day over a crossfit guy
Great job Lauren! Been making firewood my whole life... its nice to see a beautiful woman not afraid to get in there and try a timbersport event... makes you appreciate that warm fire on a cold winters eve even more right?
Good job on the stock saw, come out to California for some bigger trees and there's timber sports here too. The axe is tough, I'm no good at it either. Keep it up and you'll be pro before you know it.
She was actually really good at the axe throwing. But in reality a supermodel wouldn't have the upper body strength to do a lot of these things. But kudos to her for trying.
You did just fine. they should have given you a safety helmet and a saw with a decompression release. If you ever need job learning on how to fix them, let me know
good for her to prove chicks can do hard and dangerous competitions like this! Just cause a man can do it twice as fast due to naturally having more muscle than a woman doesn't mean a girl can't get the job done too.
Lauren, were you using a Stihl 044 or a Stihl 066 on that poor tree! I saw all the nearby trees shiver and duck for cover after you cut those two tree disks.
I can't find anywhere where it shows him doing the single buck in 7 seconds. Fastest world record holder is 9.39 seconds by Wynyard. Am I missing something or is he lying?

She is OK in my book, just for even stepping up to try this stuff! She honestly did better than I would have, not even going to lie.
Looks like Jessica Biel a little, don't you think, guys?
That's why I've been watching her vids...she's quite the athlete and damn easy on the eyes too.
I think the 144p resolution adds to it so i'm not entirely sure how she would look in hd but either way she is one fine looking woman
Damian Rivero
Definitely...the first time i saw it I thought it might be her...same body type (as in thin and fit and dead sexy) and same super cute face...
a part time model

So when does the model show up in the video? I gave up waiting.
Well, in answer to the description, we have found out that she DOES NOT have what it takes to compete.
she looks so much like Jessica Biel to me..anyone else think so?
I thought she was for sure her sister.

Amazing video! Congratulations Miss! :D
She was actually really good at the axe throwing. But in reality a supermodel wouldn't have the upper body strength to do a lot of these things. But kudos to her for trying.
Her videos should be longer.
Good thing you were mic'd up on that last axe throw, it looked and sounded like you hit it with the axe.
0:27 Now that right there is pure skill.
At 3:32 he's like. "Oh shit, please put it down".
Hey quick question are you from Chuck and Larry?
she did great for her first time good job
You did just fine. they should have given you a safety helmet and a saw with a decompression release. If you ever need job learning on how to fix them, let me know
why is the video so short?
What do you model.. gloves?
Great job, a good sport! You'd be a lot of fun to have at camp.
I hear Lauren will be functioning as a forward observer in one of her next challenges calling in Arty. So look out...
6:12 "Go easy on her Joe" lmao
Você foi participar da Stihl timbersports
"7 seconds......that's me." Nice Dave!
Good teacher with almost no ppe protection and letting a total beginner cutting without a helmet, safety Shoes, very bad.
3:52 the 880 with wat size bar do u all think that is?
great vid loved it!!
2:08 Gave me flashbacks to the vid of the guy that held his hand up for 38 years.

When he says the seven seconds hing it reminds me of Don from Napoleon Dynamite
You put the "WO" in WOMAN!
Instructions unclear. Chainsaw kept going after passing through my bisep
Check out Leonardo Dicaprio's cameo appearance at 3:58.
There was a baby handling an axe ._.
So?
She can really climb a pole! Guess she's had a lot of practice.
Next time, don't change the axe on her! This was pretty cool!
I'm impressed, I can't start a frickin chainsaw, but my sister can.
Great job!!
sehr gut gemacht
Lauren can handle it!!
Any kind of physical competition that entertains can be considered a sport.

Lauren, were you using a Stihl 044 or a Stihl 066 on that poor tree! I saw all the nearby trees shiver and duck for cover after you cut those two tree disks.
ITS GOING DOWN I'M YELLING TIMBER!!!
isn't it from bored lumberjacks who wanted to see who could do things the fastest, and eventualy they became official sports?
Nice Job!
I can't find anywhere where it shows him doing the single buck in 7 seconds. Fastest world record holder is 9.39 seconds by Wynyard. Am I missing something or is he lying?

Can't get the f*ckin' chainsaw started! Know that feeling alright.
Throwing the axe she was close hitting her bag making her num and hitting her head which would most likely kill her
