I remember killing balteus in about nearly less than 3 minutes with a 380+ boost AC build that had dual zimmies,A Drone, and a chainsaw

@@kamiya4700 "Overkill?" There is no such thing for an AC with only guns/missiles. Only Open Fire and Reload!
@@kamiya4700 OS chips?? I restarted my game from scratch on version 1 with Loader 4, the only thing I added was another TURNER rifle on my left Shoulder, only OS chip I unlocked was the one for the shoulder weapon bay, finished the game just fine and am now on NG+.
Experience is what makes NG++ 621 dangerous.
Her sticking her tongue out gives her a lot of gremlin energy and, considering pre-nerf Balteus, yeah, that checks.
The only nerf was to missile tracking, which is insignificant.

@@ZETA14.88 Nothing in the code changes supports this. The only change was to missile tracking.
Missile tracking is similar to split missiles.
Most dangerous when you are inside its course change radius and not fast enough to overcome its turn rate.

Fun fact: For AC6, they properly scaled _everything_ to normal human sizes (as modders found out when they started porting AC6 models into Elden Ring). AC’s can be anywhere between 6-12 meters in height, while the chopper boss is literally longer than most versions of Godzilla are tall.

I'm pretty sure the shortest AC possible was more like 8 metres tall, otherwise you'd see much bigger discrepancies in AC heights in game when they're roughly the same.
Most ACs are at the 10+ meter range except for ACV where ACs are around 5+ meters because reasons.

I still feel like Balteus was the proper filter, only reason I died to the helicopter was because I wasn't used to the controls yet
Thr helicopter was you working with no knowledge and limited equipment.
Balteus was you with everything you could use at your disposal and the moment you have no choice but to Get Gud. And remember, there's a 2nd fight like this and a fight that requires REAL DBZA DODGE!!! energy.
Correct Balteus was the proper filter. Cause if you didn't beat them, you didn't unlock Multiplayer mode or Arena.
@@nanachimakenshi2512nah heli is the true filter, if you cant master your default ac, might as well leave the rubicon. balteus is just there to make sure that "are you sure you want to continue?"

The filtercopter is the newbie filter. It teaches you basic movement tech and weakness ie. Ya can't just missile spam ya knob head! Git in there and hit'm with ya sword!
Balteus is the advanced filter. It teaches you to not stick to one build, to change your loadout depending on the mission......and to git gud ya scrub!
The only reason I didn't get the Heli in 1 try was because i was prepared for the helicopter to show up in the wrong direction and he got an opening salvo on me with my back turned and costed me one of my repair kits

For someone who claims not to have played AC6, you sure make some of the game's best fan content.
The Missiles arent even the WORST part of Balteus, or the Flamethrower in Phase 2

This. i'd take missiles all day over the zookas. Shotguns and fire swords are strong too but they aren't nearly as versatile/accurate as the zooks.
Long as you aren't on the other side of the arena missiles aren't a big deal. Even then you just need to get into the inside zone of the overall arc. Becomes muscle memory for any AC game to track and respond to missile smoke arcs.
I didn't even know it could shoot three bazooka rounds in a row. My brother got stunlocked from full HP to zero with those shots. Balteus staggered, but the bazooka started firing right before the stun. Apparently once the attack's begun it doesn't get canceled?
That ain't really a bazooka. It's a straight-up heavy howitzer lol
Just stop trying to rush him like a gorilla.
Starting to realize From Soft games always have 2 things:
- a "noob filter" boss
- funny murder wheels for everyone else...

That tempo and missile spam is pretty accurate to the gameplay as experienced by the players.

this game is so good, been playing on and off for 2 weeks.
Balteus was the one who showed me i was a worthy pilot, hardest fight of my life. Even Ibis 240 took less tries.
Balteus Girl is like Tomo Takino from Azumanga Daioh, made the boss much more likeable

Balteus was such an iconic boss, I hope it makes a return in some DLC or sequel. Absolutely spectacular machine
Why? Its already used twice in AC6 and the second version is arguably harder than the first version, but alot of people were using dual zimms, dual songbirds or needle cannons to notice cause that combination basically melted anything. 1st Balteus is just the standard From skill check/mission and Balteus Arquebus is it with the actual gloves off, but you have alot better gear and more developed skills.
If you can melt Balteus Arquebus, then the regular Balteus goes down ALOT faster.

Pre-nerf Rubicopter and Belty ready to Filter out da foolz!
Rubicopter was never nerfed, only the starting weapons became stronger after FS rebalanced all parts and weapons in 1.03.1. As for Balteus, data miners said the only thing they changed was the missile and bazooka tracking.
