This is old Clint. He didn’t fully know how to handle the situation maturely and just resorted to any insults he could in the heat of the moment. Simple as that. I do think he went a bit too far but he had reason to.
It’s not personal at all, so don’t think he’s attacking autistic people. As much as I hate to say it, words like “retarded” and “autist” are just kind of colloquially used as insults for stupid people. It’s pretty dumb too since if you say the n-word it’s a monumental sin but you can pretty much dunk on disabled people all you want with no backlash since it’s socially acceptable. I think it comes from the fact that most disabled people are so chill and don’t give a fuck.
