You gotta love the sound!! Great video tho you are so lucky you got to see a close up of the jet like that! Likeddddddd
Thanks!
I never been on a Boeing 787-9 in my life. But I have been on some Boeing 777-300ers, Zk-Okr, Zk-Okq, Zk-Okp, Zk-Oko, Zk-Okn, and Zk-Okm. I don’t know about Zk-Oks. The 777 is everywhere. I heard that it is the largest aircraft in the flight, with the GE90 engines, awsome view from the windows, and it also looks cool in those liveries that we see.
Those GE90's sound amazing don't they!
Love the RR Trent 1000 🤘🏻
Such a nice sound!
nice
Thanks!
I've never been on a 787 I've been on the air NZ 777-300 though what camera do you have??
Yeah I've only been on the 777-200. I have the Canon Powershot SX740HS
Awesome spool up
Thanks:)
RR engines right? Coz I recognise that trademark howl before full throttle.
Yes, the Trent 1000 engines
NZZZZ
Yes
Hope to see you guys return to London Heathrow.
I hope so too although I don't think that will happen, atleast for a while to come
@@NonyAviationNewZealand I agree. What was the deal regarding that? .Was the route a money loser? I seriously doubt that. I believe LAX-LHR was better priced because of Air New Zealand’s 5th Freedom rights from LAX-LHR giving American,United,British, and Virgin competition. The 787-9 is a nice looking plane .I would love to see it with an older Air New Zealand livery such as the one used in the 80s and early 90s.
@@christopherhennessey8991 I think it is because New Zealanders when travelling to Europe prefer travelling via Asia or the Middle east. They prefer not having to deal with hostile TSA agents. It is after all the same distance no matter what direction you travel.
If you go via America it is the long way around. People generally rather fly via Dubai, Singapore or Hong Kong to Europe
@@119beaker You may have a point. I wanted to smack a couple of them myself.
Engines are GE not trents. You can easily see that there is no RR logo or google it
Thanks for watching and subscribing. These are RR Trent 1000's as Air NZ only uses them for their 787 aircraft. I believe their new 787's will have the GE engine fitted.
It didn't take off. What happened?
Unfortunately my camera ran out of battery
