Got lucky, A330 to Sydney! The plane came in from AKL then hopped to SYD

I just got a water, all the drinks came in small glass. I did forget to film it 🤦🏼‍♂️ this video isn't a good representation of my reviews haha

@Jamesexperiences Definitely spoilt, I usually get a champagne too. I think you'll enjoy the evening flight, there will be nice food and I believe a blanket. I try to avoid morning flights as much as I can because of catering!

I do really want to try Emirates, hopefully if I head over to Dubai at the end of the year. Interesting to know you prefer it, sure does look good from what I've seen!

😂😂 Not on my list to try again, QANTAS on their widebody's are so much better and even better again when the meal isnt a breakfast

Glad someone likes those lolly choices! I do enjoy publishing these regional flights around New Zealand, I always used to watch videos like these when I was 12 or 13 so I hope there's people like little me out there! Unfortunately no travel booked at the moment, looking at a 13 day Asia Live Tour at the end of this month so 🤞🤞

Some of them are quite strange but I've had some good ones like "Moreish Milk" which was just regular milk chocolate, really tasty. "Might Macadamia & Wattleseed" was okay and "Pink Salted Vanilla" was not great, the one in this video wasn't great either. Not sure who at QANTAS decided to add them to the menu when most of them are very average.

@@NonyFlightsNZ I always get dark chocolate which is annoying since I want to run my own airline when I’m older I would give passengers the choice of white chocolate dark or milk.

Is it really BYOD entertainment on the new NEO's? We're going to start becoming like US and Europe airlines soon... I too (after this flight, which was the cheapest I could find for the date) have only booked Business when it's pretty cheap. Made the most of the double status offering this year and are now in Silver, pretty big accomplishment for me! Have you flown Cathay Business recently? I'm looking at flying either China Airlines or Cathay from Asia to Auckland booking with points and have heard Cathay's also in a decline but China Airlines has been quite off the radar for me.

@@NonyFlightsNZ No Cathay Pacific for many years. When they started cutting costs and stopped providing Oneworld Emeralds additional perks I took other options. I hear they are trying to improve their service but at the moment most of my flying CX is not convenient for me.

Absolute madness! Peak travel time bring along some peak prices, I did forget to note this included a connection onwards to Tauranga but still quite spendy. Thanks for that, plenty of videos to come with some better filming 😃

Yep, LATAM flies SCL-AKL-SYD with their 787. AirNZ flies AKL-SYD with their 777 and 787. QANTAS is about to increase their SYD-AKL-JFK to 6x weekly on the 787 too, plenty of 787s to fly across the Tasman

Luckily this spot still exists! This is the P3 carpark over on the domestic side, P6 is the one that is no more which is behind the Rydges at international. I bet this will be the next one to go, there were some kids plane spotting on the roof of a small shed here at the same time... No idea how they got up.
