In 2018 I was in a full blown 17 yr meth and opiate addiction and my husband was a raging alcoholic. CPS took our son and we both quit that same day August 22, 2018. We grabbed hold of faith in God and we've been sober ever since. If you want it bad enough you will do it
Here's a reference example: Jesse and Jane in Breaking Bad. After receiving a duffle bag full of cash, they mutually decided to check into rehab together… ‘Tomorrow’. The next morning, one of them wakes up, next to the other, who didn't (ever).
my husband and I have almost 4 years sober September makes my 4 year date n my hubby's is in October...we stayed together but we have separate therapist n worked on ourselves as well as our relationship we were worried about bringing the other person down but we had great communication and motivation I was glad to have my best friend there going through it with me
It's possible but both needs motivation enough. If you find a partner who with you can do it, then you may have a lifetime partner.. (sorry, bad english.)
In my experience, I had to go through it alone...another person would have been too much to handle. There was a meditation book I liked called 30 Days to Sobriety by Harper Daniels, and The Easy Way by Carr was good.

It’s hard enough for one person to get and stay sober. Two sounds really hard but it is possible..

With love and patience everything is possible!
