Hey there…just wanted to take a minute to let you know we all have your Mom in our prayers. Family should always come first and we all want nothing but the best for you and your entire family. 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏
What up doe tkk prayers to yours . Got my 85inch Bravia 9 delivered and mounted last Thursday. So far so good I look forward to the content . Oled will always be in bedroom and other rooms but my main living space for me is going be the Bravia 9 in 85 .
Still praying for your mom and your family. I appreciate you making content despite the very important personal things going on outside of UA-cam and our tech enthusiast community. Much love my guy!
So sorry to hear about your mum theres nothing worse than seeing a parent go through things. I lost my dad 2 years ago so know the heartache. Keep strong buddy and look forward to future videos
First I’m sorry for your loss, I lost my grandfather about 24 years ago and he was so important to me it still bothers me today, I’m very sorry. Thank you for the kind words of understanding.
Bless you Stay Strong. Lost my Mom in November. (a few says after her Birthday). Had Hip replacement surgery 2 weeks ago. It's tough but we have to do our best everyday.
I lost my mom to cancer when I was 23, so I can guarantee you the good times right now you spend with her are so important. Moving on to my 85” Bravia 9. It’s pretty incredible. It’s 98% close to an OLED on black levels and it’s a big upgrade over my 77 S90C for watching movies, just from the processing that Sony brings. And the 85” size is a game changer. Only con is that viewing angles aren’t as good as the S90C.
Life is crazy like that sometimes. One part of your life you see your mom as someone you think is invincible. Like she's superwoman because of all the things she's done for you. Then age kicks in and illnesses begin to occur and you set to yourself "oh shit, is the end?" At that point all of the disagreements in the past don't matter. All you care about is spending a little more time with your mom. Cherish these moments brother. Hopefully your mom has more years on this earth before she transitions. Stay up, and put The Most High first.
Do you still believe you’ll make it your main when the 85” is available in your area? As a LG C1 owner I’m impressed with my TV but I saw the Sony A95KL (which ever is the QD-OLED, I forget the model number) in Best Buy and I was instantly blown away by its brightness. It made me question my desire for G4 and makes me want to explore brighter TVs again. I too said I’ll never buy another LED but you and Sony got me considering the Bravia 9 hard! 😂. I only wish to see it in person.
Thank you for taking time to make this video, especially considering the pain you're going through. You seem like such a compassionate person. Regarding tvs: Any chance of the Hisense U9N vs the Bravia 9?
Please don't change, I'm getting sick of the over technical stuff on the big reviewers. Also could you do a little bit on the PC desktop side of things, I'm worried going from an OLED to B9 might have blooming on windows.
I have the 55" A95L and 65" bravia 9. I like them both. I have youtube tv and Max and hulu streaming I have to reset both tvs alot because I get slow motion video and no sound. Do others have these issues? Do you think its internet issue or streaming issue and not tv itself. Blessings to your mom.
Coming from a 2017 Samsung 60" LCD, I only stream, sports and Blu-ray, NO GAMING and I'm in the tropics with five 5' windows in my living room. I also don't watch TV in the dark - minimum is with ambient light. My room size is 13' x 13 - no off angle issues expected. I will be buying the 85'' Sony Bravia 9. This choice is based on prioritising my "Use Case". Sorry and hope mom gets well again (say hi to her for me). Maybe you should bring her down on a caribbean trip or cruise.
@@AllAboutTKK sick setups bro , for you and your lady …. Wow. To be honest i was expecting for you to say that especially coming from a person that buy high end electronics 🫡
Micro led seems too expensive to bring to the consumers possibly ever . Bravia 9 looks amazing would you consider going for the 85 version. Hope you and your family have better times 🙏
Family is the most important thing! Hope your mother is able to recover somewhat. I've never owned an OLED though I use one at work sometimes. I'm still super happy with my Sony 65" X930E. When it fails I will definitely look at a size upgrade, but if I can avoid the pitfalls of OLED with Sony's new led tech, I am inclined to go that way... I guess I feel like the black levels are a bit crushed and almost unrealistically black on that work OLED!
Hi I didn't order the bravia 9 85". But I did go with an A80L 83" witch I've been playing with since wendsday night. But I've been knoticeing a few things, like when I did my new setup, it would recognize my firestick and my Emotiva av receiver and list them in my inputs. But then the next day it wouldn't. So I did a factory reset and it all worked as it should have. But the just like day 2. It wouldn't Recognize them.then last night I was watching Godzilla, and it had some really bad banding in some Scenes. So now I'm just not sure on this A80L. Do you think I should just return it and go with the 85" bravia 9? I came from a 6 year samsung. Thanks darrell some great insight will be appreciated.
Best Whishes for your family. I am in the same predicament as you, as a TV DELIMA, G4 83inch vs Bravia 9 85inch. What ever tv I buy will be in a pitch black basement and never owned an oled. I'm so conflicted on what to get......
Hey if it is helpful at all I was in the same boat as you for a 65” to fit my entertainment center. After watching videos and reading obsessively I ended up buying the G4 and the Bravia 9. Long story short - you can NOT go wrong with either of those TVs. It was an incredibly difficult decision but I ended up keeping the G4 because of the 3D effect it had in general. But man, the brightness and dark details of the Bravia 9 made it so hard to send back. They both look AMAZING. Like TTK said in one of his other videos, I wanted to smash the two TVs together and combine them. Also to TTK God bless you and your family keeping you guys in my prayers.
Pitch black basement - G4 no doubt. High window brightness of B9 will be a nuisance not a benefit. In small highlights G4 will be brighter though plus a lot more depth to the picture. If you can swing 83” there is no contest
Hi, im torn bethe g4 and bravia 9. Unfortunately in my country, the G 4 maxes out at 77 inch. So for purely movie watching in a dimly lit room what would you suggest? The bravia 8 85 or g4 77? .@James-rz1xo
Praying for you and the family brother, though I am oled man , I have to disagree with you.the bravia 9 is the best lcd tv ever better than the Samsung 2024 8k tv by far , that said after seen it it person I still prefer oled.
@AllAboutTKK I know brother it was me joking , Bravia 9 is an amazing lcd I keep trying to get fomo test other Sony 4000 nit movies he has that 4000 nit monitor, Sony has a lot movies graded at 4000 nits like spiderman homecoming , I can see what the movies is graded in when hit the info button on .my oppo 203 .
people need to understand a top tier led is just as good as oled they both have there strength and weaknesses i have a q90t and a c1 and both tvs amaze me i am in need of a 3rd tv that will be a qd oled fasho
@tkk would you be testing 85 inch version of bravia 9?? Because what I've seen from AVSforum ...... is that 85" B9 is basically have indifferentiable black levels from oleds....and some users also posted pics of it....
It’s not about objects on black background though. It’s about small black details and bright highlights together - from which depth is born. LED still can’t pull it off. Contrast is the most important in picture quality - not brightness - don’t take it from me but professionals like Vincent. It’s an amazing LED. But it’s still a led - if the size would be bigger or pricing better then sure a good option - similar pricing - don’t think so. Each year people buy Sony led and claim it’s the best tv - then each year they repeat the process - question why if every time it’s the best tv apparently…

That’s sounds like a buffering issue from either slow speeds or pings
Can you compare those two? Which one you pick overal?
sorry to hear about your mom. I went through this years ago with mine.
Thanks
Hello brotha. Good to take a little break every now and then.😊
