I love these. Perfect size. Woodgrain, wire wheels, and turbo engine = crazy combination!
The quintessential American suburban cruiser...I remember my mom had one of these in the late 80's! Such fond memories...still think it's pretty fancy :) Thanks for sharing!
Awesome car!! I have two 1987 Dodge Aries wagons and I LOVE them they have treated my family and I very well.
Cheers!!
I have an 82 Convertible. 97000 miles. Mark cross package and everything. Love it. Only things it doesn't have are power alloy wheels, power seats, and a digital dash (digital dash didn't come out until 1983)
Thank you for your video. I have one, but with the louvered hood. People are crazy about this car. They always want to talk about it here in the Motor City. LOVEIT!
Thanks for this video!! A lot of people dislike wagons, but i’ve always liked them very much.
I like it!!!.. I had a Dart K wagon 86 and I loved that kar
I remember this car and thought it beautiful. I was a Ford fan until fate had me to purchase a 95 fully loaded Chrysler Pacificain 2011. I absolutley love this predessor to the crossover.!
When I was a little kid My mom bought a brand new 1987 Chrysler labaron GTS Turbo. I thought it was such a cool car is pool car especially when compared to the old's mobile custom cruiser wagon she traded for it. The car was a total nightmare nightmare.. The all Electronic dashboard completely shut off off on the way home from the dealership. That was just the beginning. We ended up keeping the car only 9 months before my mom had head had enough. She said she just didn't feel safe driving it because I think it because it was at the dealership getting warranty repairs more than it was in our driveway. The last thing I remember it doing Was cutting out in the rain. Living in Miami in Miami where it rains almost every afternoon in the summer made is driving it a real Game of Russian rulette. For some reason that was a very common problem in the LA Baron GTS and Dodge lancer cousins cousins and Chrysler never had a fix for it. I wonder if the the wagon versions or or the convertible versions were we're as bad?? As an adult now I would love would love to get my hands on it's on a GTS just to see what it was like. The one we had was maroon inside and out and came with every fancy option option Excluding lever leather. It had big soft valor seats seats and and the car lit up like the Miami skyline at 9:00 at night with all The fancy gages And overhead console.
Thanks for showing. My '86 Colony Park has the same name!
13 years later, wonder where this car is now.
Great car!! I love the K wagons. I have a 1984 LeBaron convertible with only 56k on it. It's all original and runs great. It has the 2.2 turbo like you have, but not quite as many options;)
Nice car man and in great shape.
Exactly like my mom's 1988 Lebaron wagon she had from 88 to 98. Except no leather, no turbo 2.2 and no power windows, and no spoke covers. it had a 2.5L.
Beautiful car
Nice car! i really want one of those!!! im a big fan of Chrysler and K cars, specially Sation Wagons as yours!!
I had one that still ran after sitting for 9 years, Great car! but my father sold it for scrap...
Mine had the 2.5 engine which is quieter and more powerful without turbo but had single port fuel injection to replace the cantankerous carburetor, it also had crankshaft balancers.
I love this car! I want it so bad!
I like the video, and i like the car. I own a 1980 Chrysler Lebaron Town and Country Wagon, with the wood siding as well. looks almost identical to yours but more squared. I have the orginal chrysler bird as my hood ordiment, it came with a 318ci v8 automatic, with power windows, power locks, and power driver seat, interior is all leather burgundy color with burgundy medallion carpet. the car is 100% all original down to the bare steel it was built on. Pictures upon request
Lee Iacocca was a smart, he made these cars off of 1 platform. Good autos for the time.
My parents had an '83 Town & Country wagon. Also white. It had the Mitsu 2.6. Nice little car but under powered.
Good Car, Its very comparable to my 1980 chrysler lebaron town and country and my 1978 chrysler town and country. both of which are fully loaded, but both have 318ci small block v8,and a burgundy medallion interior
Did the 1987 Lebaron Wagon ever use the EVA Voice Alert system or just the chime?
Its so crap I love it, perfect Dakar or bust car!
Lee Iacocca passed away this week! RIP
Are the engines durable?
I had a loaded 1987 Lebaron sedan. I loved it but traded it pristine for a 1991 Plymouth Laser.
This is Ferris Bueller's mom's car!
Do you still have the car it's been 10 years.
I have the same wagon white wood grain only 20000 miles in great shape love two find a 84 two 87 new yorker that talks miss them cars
i really like this video i have the same car
Could you kindly replace the chime in this LeBaron wagon with a scary buzzer from a Dodge Aries or a Plymouth Reliant?
Does that say Galena Chrysler on the back?! I live down the road from there.. Its from Fort Myers, Florida.. I can tell that logo from anywhere
Is this for sale? and how much?
Wonderful I want to buy such a car how

I don't see 2 LeBarons!
I have a woody for sale/ non turbo/ black nice car 1400
Surely chrysler cars were well built in the past, today on the administration of the fiat brand only has to lose.
