Nothing beats the feeling of finally opening your first beer after a long day of working in the scorching summer heat, taking a small swim in the lake, and launching these chill atmospheric beats. No other music fits the setting so well. It's almost as if jungle and atmospheric DnB fully encapsulate the feeling of summer, in a way no other genre does.

@@goldbullet50 not here in the uk where these genres originated. a true jungle rave will be very Jamaican reggae influenced usually very MC centric and the music's vibe tends to be more aggressive more upbeat less ambient chillout in tone. most counties do not separate dnb genres well but here in the uk we do. in the 90s it was even more so the case. many clubs and raves in the uk will have a only liquid/chillout dnb nights and jungle nights. the two genres are separated a lot. both vibes are very different. both only over lap in the fact they both use an amen break and sometimes similar sounding ambient atmospheric snyths. it is true some jungle artists moved on to this later 90s more synthy, airy dnb sound but that does not change the fact both genres sound different and should not be put in the same sentence if you are not actually going to put any actual jungle songs in the mix, just saying.

Loved it, took me on a slow trip down memory lane, and some great times in the 90s when the PSX was runnin' whilst I was doing something else, and Jungle Menu Music was just filling the room out the CRT-Speakers, tripping me out as a kid without me even realising..

Awesome yet refreshing mix 👍 Been binging the classics (Bukem, Simon Bassline etc) but it's great knowing new artists are composing atmospheric/intelligent DnB to this day!
Love this compilation & the dreamy Y2K aesthetics and PS1-Dreamcast sounds! I ought to make a proper atmospheric jungle mix tape one of these days myself. I don't go to many DnB parties, do you know if they have a stage or play this sound at any of the bigger DnB festivals with multiple stages like Liquicity?
Unfortunately this kind of DnB is pretty unpopular, maybe you could find a handful of artists like this at big DnB festivals but I'm unsure :/
