It is defenetly 200km/h, you can see it at the km signs: 7:55 - km 33.0 8:13 - km 34.0 => 1km in 18sec 1km x 200 = 200km 18sec x 200 =3600sec 200km in 3600sec = 200km/h ;) It just has been captured with a telephoto lens.
Yes, actually there is 2 Train Sets. Front Train Set goes to Aarhus in Jutland. Aft part changes direction in Hamburg and goes to Copenhagen via Puttgarten.
I can not get closer to the front, sorry. If I use shorter focal width, I will get a porthole to look out of. This is the best I can do from the passenger compartment.
It's 200, I've calculated it in my other comment below ;) I think there are some videos somewhere around here, on my channel you'll find some cab videos too, but with 160 km/h max speed ;)
Yes, it is definitely 200 KPH. The lens is at telephoto one.and the scenery is compressed (front to back) as a result. This makes the train look like it is going slower than it actually is. The result will be different if you use a wide-angle lens too. The result is that the train is going faster than it really is.
people are quick to comment without even thinking. is your camera zoomed in? they have a word for it when your perspective of objects that are further looks slower.
Km 42,2 is passed at 10m41s and Km 44,2 is passed at 11m17s. That is 2 Kms in 36 seconds or 1 Km in 18 secs. 3600/18=200. Closest to Berlin the max allowed speed is 120/160 Km/h. Note the 12 and the16 signs. When the speed limit is raised to 230 (max line speed) there are no more speed signs. This train is only certified to 200 Km/h max.
Do you know how many ICE TD trains are still in service? I've heard they were going to scrap them and I'm wondering how many there are still left so I can spot them.
13 trainsets is listed in Dansk Jernbaneklub´s Magazine Jernbanen. Acording to Rejseplanen 6 daily connections between Copenhagen and Hamburg via Rødby Ferry is listed.
Newest Status BR 605. Sadly, chances of spotting a BR 605 is dwindling fast. On Dec. 11 2016 five BR 506 trainsets were returned to Hamburg Langenfelde. Table K17 and until Oct. 1.2017 operates with only one trainset in service and another held as spare. Rest of the traffic between København H and Hamburg is IC3 trainsets.
+Charlotte Whyte Well, how about You prove that I have jinxed with the video? Why should I? 200 Km/h is common daily routine. The electrified ICEs are alowed to do 230 Km/h.
This video is a CAB ride, not a competition about who has been a passenger in the fastest train. In this part of the world, at the time of this recording, 200Km/h was fast. If You think the train goes too slow, just seek out another video on UA-cam.
Interessante Führerstandsmitfahrt - danke für's Zeigen!

Good video. Speed is king.

Great video!!! beautiful scenery,,,,,,,,,
Thank You for info. I have corrected the listing.
wanna ACTUALLY go 200kmh? go to video options and set speed "2'' ;)
02:28 Das ja mal nur geil:-) Lichthupe auf der Bahnstrecke :-)

fascinating to watch the way it eats up those 200m markers. 1 km on average in 20 seconds.
I used to travel on locomotive. It seems apr. 120km/h, but the kilometersigns shows the real velocity.
Very tricky!

At Spandau the trainspeed is 0 Kmh :)
Do You want me to change the title to "Berlin - Hanburg at 0 - 200 Km/h" ?

this is 100 km/h you can see the "100" on the signal 00:02
Nice video, where is the continuation thereof?
Prima Video, wo geht's weiter?
отлично!
ход напоминает Москва-С.Петербург!!!!
That are 200km/h, it just has been captured with a high focal length, so it looks slower.
Went by soooooooooo fast, I missed it.
hai, when you zoom the cam out,its going faster.to mutch zooming in,but its a nice video, greetz:Peerke, tsjuus.
I take it that this is a four-car unit ICE ? to Denmark via the puttgarten Ferry ?
В описании написано, почему кажется что медленно. Снято с зумом, потому что.

Is this video royalty free? I would like to use it in a video clip for my band.
ICE-TD I love it!
A bird hits the train at 12:06
