Raiding and free painting is not a big deal in any other game. It can be fixed in a few seconds and also people change. The real bad guys in world conquest are the Votekick abusers who Votekick a player on a super minor offense instead of trying to fix it. Remember that Votekicking prevents you from playing in a server and because there are so few servers you can be easily banned by a random know it all for a whole day.

While I partially agree that this is because games like Risk are better at teaching players how to play the game correctly, and have more open communities, in my opinion WC has it less bad than some games. Votekick abuse isn't that bad, as in larger servers it's hard for the abusers to convince others to vkick for minor infractions.
It is just that it incredibly common to for a world conquest player to just look at some borders and since nobody has chatlogs they just don’t scroll up that chat and accuse you of free painting or oversimplified rp and instead of just fixing it or listening to you they tell everyone to Votekick you and they usally do it because nobody wants to actually check and they just assume they are right.
I really can't blame him, in the game it's supposed to be RP of nations but now, it should just be "Do whatever story you want as long as it's historically credible" but in the game EVERYONE wants it to be 100% attached to the story. real history, they literally do not let you do alternative history, referring to those who try little by little to initiate a historical change that has not happened in real history. Nor will I say that there are no players who only want to get history out of their balls instead of, well, ROLE as it is supposed to for development, but it is going too far to involve the normal players who Role in a coherent way to try to make alternative history and put the guys who just come in to do random things in the same bag as if the 2 rules were exactly the same bad it's frustrating

I've been a avid user in the world conquest community playing the game fairly often than usual, But these are some of my arguments and responses since ranking up to an adept. Coming Back to this video several times, I'd just want to open out my say particularly about world conquest community as a whole, Indeed the community has definitely improved since the previous years, however a still tryharding like environment still continues primarily pushing through causing major troubles and uncertainty in new players formally quitting the game early, formally I wasn't hardly subjugated as hardly as other players to the toxicity the game previously held (I've faced it one or two times previously), One thing I would like to just really overview of the world conquest community is how Guest's from years ago have climbed the ranks to Adept, even Elite nowadays, I still do see that the game still faces a major powerplaying problems with Adept+ and high rp initiates within the community primarily towering conqueror's, guests, and to an extent some low-mid initiate roleplayers, too (generally not great at rp ranks and skill), in my opinion, to say that the community has developed since than is correct, but I feel like still there's more development needed to see the community prosper and be properly at formal standards such as a full elimination of powerplay against newbies/new players and much more, all in all the basic point of my argument is that the World Conquest community has developed and evolved since then, however a even slight 1-10% is missing for full elimination of toxicity, powerplay against new players such as guests and conquerors, tryharding, and more issues within the World Conquest Community. Still very glad that nowadays we don't start votekicking new players and conquerors just because of there roleplay ability. This was easily seeable since once I ranked to adept, I practically saw everything unfold, Thus is why I slowly drifted away from world conquest for a more needed break from the game.
I am completely new to this channel and got this recommended to me but I would like to share my current thoughts on WC as I just finished a few round after a week return For the past few years I’ve been playing WC (I’ve taking a few months gaps in between the week or two I play) and I feel like the game is a very good and unique idea for history lovers, but the community is some of the strictest people out there. I feel as if having “fun” is public enemy number one in WC. When my friend and I play and we do something slightly different from the historical timeline but still completely possible there will always be on person who has to come over and harass and be rude you until you change it and follow there “perfect little worlds rules.” The community can also been quite hard on new players, I’ve had to help and defend new players from making a small mistake so they wouldn’t get Vkicked, I feel as if we should help them and not go against them. For example when my first ever round I didn’t understand it and someone reported me (💀) and didn’t even try to help me. I honestly feel as if world conquest has the possible one of the worst and most strict community’s in Roblox. (I am in NO WAY shape or form trying to be rude to you btw, I actually like your content and videos)
the community is honestly way less strict now. getting vkicked for not knowing how to play isn’t something that really happens anymore; most people will help newer players and tell them the rules. and while powertripping players from any part of the game can be annoying, once you integrate into the community it’s really not that bad. the vast majority of the community dislikes powertrippers, same as you

Fr, once when I played WC (this was like 2 years ago) I was playing Italy in a 1992? Scenario and I invaded Libya. Then out of nowhere, a dude came to Europe and free painted the restore tool on ALL of Europe saying "THiS isNT REaLisTiC!!!!" Keep in mind this person wasn't playing Russia or France or something, he was playing PHILIPPINES so why would he care so much? This was at least 2 years ago so the community isn't as bad anymore. (Thankfully)
My experience with the wc community is not great as I have been told my rp isn’t good due to my minimal knowledge of the rules and standards (I have learned most of them now) and I made an alternate map and got immediately criticized by an adept over a small detail so I think the community has its rough patches but there are a lot of good people in the community none the less and some people take advantage of their high ranking and try acting all superior and like they are so much smarter than the rest of us

World Conquest has a problem with people of higher ranks like Adept and Elite playing God and powerplaying. Like they be using archaic terminology and getting toxic at people who don't understand what the hell they're doing. Or simply are not as knowledgeable in the LARPing of a country or region. Although, I understand why it is "overhated" or "underrated", there is still an explicit problem with toxicity and bending of rules. From what I remember, IPgamer was [permanently] banned simply for FRPing (early on into his time-lapse phase) and alting to continue his content. He was unbanned as some point after using diplomacy and then immediately banned by another mod because he couldn't be forgiven. Even when he made a private server for his "last" stream, an admin entered and banned him just to troll him and his audience. It continued on even into his review of 2024 World Conquest when he hopped onto WC on his friends account to check its state. Immediately, the same day, that account was banned. I'm not saying the ban was unjustified, his early LARPs were definitely trash. But the way the mods went about it and went out of their way to ban any account he has and mess with him shows issues with moderation in WC. Also it's obvious many Elites and Adept are toxic and get away with it because they made friends with moderation. It's happened time and time again where Adepts/Elites did some stupid shit but get a free pass.

World Conquest has a problem with people of higher ranks like Adept and Elite playing God and powerplaying. Like they be using archaic terminology and getting toxic at people who don't understand what the hell they're doing. Or simply are not as knowledgeable in the LARPing of a country or region. Although, I understand why it is "overhated" or "underrated", there is still an explicit problem with toxicity and bending of rules.
From what I remember, IPgamer was [permanently] banned simply for FRPing (early on into his time-lapse phase) and alting to continue his content. He was unbanned as some point after using diplomacy and then immediately banned by another mod because he couldn't be forgiven. Even when he made a private server for his "last" stream, an admin entered and banned him just to troll him and his audience. It continued on even into his review of 2024 World Conquest when he hopped onto WC on his friends account to check its state. Immediately, the same day, that account was banned.
I'm not saying the ban was unjustified, his early LARPs were definitely trash. But the way the mods went about it and went out of their way to ban any account he has and mess with him shows issues with moderation in WC. Also it's obvious many Elites and Adept are toxic and get away with it because they made friends with moderation. It's happened time and time again where Adepts/Elites did some stupid shit but get a free pass.

@@sirduckuspondicus I can see that somtimes mods and stuff can really get on your nerves, but the things he done was a perm ban, so he should of never got unbanned, plus it was recent, but… it was a private server, still, that’s kinda karma
