My winter home is right next to Disney World Parks, and I wish Disney doing well. But seeing the company’s changes under his leadership and the guy fired months ago, I am shorting Disney stock. Disney is in entertainment business, and they thought they were a propaganda department of an unknown authority.

He is not as smart as you think he is! When you run a business you can only be so liberal. Iger’s liberalness is why disney is struggling right now. I am actually surprised this didn’t happen earlier. That saying is true “go woke go broke.”
I used to wish i or my family could afford to go to Disney parks and resorts but now i am happy this wasn't possible (wo credit card debt lol). Mr 27 million a year while people can't even afford health insurance disgusts me and I'm not a child anymore or even a young adult so i can just see it for what it is.
Iger is perceived by himself and many others as being smart but he is NOT. However God IS! Absolutely no comparison ....PERIOD. Think about it for awhile.
If they can’t get their film/media side together soon they are no trouble. They made all the wrong bets after 2019 and the COVID excuse isn’t really working anymore. Alienating their core customer base is never smart.

I’ll just say Disney used media outlets to tone down the severity of the situation as well. It truly wasn’t great.

He spent what $70 billion on FOX and admitted in this interview that was a waste of money...great leader.
