I have chronic pain - getting to watch you & your descriptions is such a help. I feel like your service to us means an occasional splurge is your right! Life is short - ENJOY a pricey dress if you truly love it!
That Zimmermann dress looked lovely on you! 🥰 But $850 😬. I could never, but I’m a budget girl. I think if you can justify how many times you think you’d wear it, then keep it. But if you can’t see yourself wearing it much, then return. It looks like the perfect Easter dress to me though and does look beautiful on you. Did you see their “Matchmaker Bustier Corset Linen & Silk Organza Mini Sundress?” I died 😍. Could see you in that one as well. But I also ☠️ at the price tag. 😅
Oh my goodness I didn't see it but it's gorgeous!! The 2 Zimmy dresses I got on sale previously are both reached for often.. probably because I know they were still a higher price point and I try to wear them as much as I can!

My shape and size is really similar to yours, and you just reminded me how good the fit-and-flare looks on "us"😊The only difference is I don't usually go for the girly style...yet here I am and love watching you- especially your basics! Love the Mango linen dress. Looove Nordstrom! (PS I'd wait for a sale for the Zimmerman unless you will wear the dress many times during the year. But if it's in your budget... it looks beautiful on you!)
I ended up returning it :( I needed to get the next size up and get it taken in since my arms were a little restricted.
My favorite was the En Saison Floral Cotton Poplin Mini Shirtdress- stunning!!!

Beautiful spring haul. Definitely purchasing a couple of these pieces to try on. May I add I think black looks gorgeous on you. You look like a totally different person although the soft palette you normally wear is so ladylike black definitely gives you an edge that contrasts your feminine personality and romantic style.

I don't think you could get the cost per wear with the Zimmerman dress. Could you really wear it to that many events and not look like it's the only dress you own? And some events you see the same people, pictures are taken, etc. Personally, I don't think it's worth it and maybe not even when it's on sale. The similar dress was just as cute, albeit a little short.

The dress was pretty but personally I wouldn’t spend that much on a dress . I found a beautiful mother of the bride dress in Nordstrom for much less . I would rather take that money and give it to my children or grandchildren . If it brings you joy buy it .
